Natural pantry is good. Had to find help to get a vitamin that didn't contain Glycerin in it, since apparently all vitamin capsules contain this plasticity agent.

Also was hoping to find an all natural shampoo and conditioner, but all the ones I found had either fragrance added to them, or something else that wasn't recognizable. Kind of wish they had a section in each area or label for each item stating "All natural" or "100% natural". Would make shopping in a limited time frame easier.

But lots of natural items available, so better than the other options locally. Just have to read labels carefully.

The store itself is great. My review is about the clerk Miranda who checked me out. I only got one thing & she acted like I was taking her whole day away from her. She spoke to me with such little respect, not even looking me in the eye, & though she asked the previous customers if the had a loyalty card (they didn't) she didn't ask me, so I said here's my loyalty card she snapped & rolled her eyes & (while looking away since I was so beneath her to even look at me) said loyalty cards do not apply to what I was getting. She did manage to eek out a hesitant "thank you" when she handed me my receipt, (again... while looking away with her nasty scowl on her face) so I guess that's SOMETHING! SO RUDE! Natural Pantry should train her how to treat their customers or put her in the back where she won't offend people with her rudeness!

The Natural Pantry has, by far, the best selection of organic, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan foods in the city. They are conveniently located in midtown and boast everything from prepared salads and a bakery to vegan makeup and aroma therapy oils. Their fruit and vegetable selection is varied and they carry several Kosher products as well. Even though the store is the same size as a chain grocery, the staff make it feel like a small local market. The are running a clothing drive (for new sweatshirts, boots, gloves, socks, etc.). So if you are headed that way during July 2020 bring what you can along.

This store is a diamond in the rough where Anchorage is concerned. A great place to shop if you have food allergies! I loved it! It's like a Sprouts and Natural Grocers and your favorite herb shop all rolled into one!
