Walked in about 3:30pm on a Saturday and got a table for 4 straight away. The by the slice options were limited by then, but we ordered a whole Hot Honey Grandma style and a white slice as well as their funky Caesar salad. . The pizza was ready in about 15 mins, but the salad was actually pretty awesome, the miso sauce and sesame seeds just made it pop and so fresh! The pizza base was crispy but not too much for this style. Ingredients were tasty and the fresh basil and piped on ricotta made it divine. Highly recommend!

New York style pizza without having to travel. Recently moved to the Chicago land area from NY about a year ago and have been searching for a place with pizza as good as back home. Definitely check this place out, they've got a killer traditional pepperoni pie as well as specialty pies that are creative. We went with a half pepperoni half bacon jam pie and damn the pie was absolute fire 🔥. Also worth a try for an appetizer are the garlic twists. Their pesto dipping side was incredible and definitely made in house.

Katie was our server and she was very kind, personable, and attentive. I love that she gave her personal reccomendations and was relatable. She made our first time here a memorable experience. Thanks Katie and Nemec Brothers Pizzeria!!

First time at the Nemec Brothers Pizzeria with my wife!

I saw a reel on TikTok that stated this place sells Halal Pepperoni Pizzas so we had to stop by and try it!

We were greeted immediately by the staff and given menus by the very kind waitress.

The pizza shop has a nice ambiance with decent amount of seating upstairs and downstairs.

For our appetizer we ordered the Garlic Twits which were drenched in butter and Parmesan cheese plus for the main pie we did NYC style half cheese and half halal pepperoni.

Pizza was good and fresh and is worth trying if you are in the downtown Glen Ellyn area.

Just had an incredible meal at Nemec Brothers’ Pizzeria in Glen Ellyn – and wow, what a find! 🍕🥗

We started with the Funky Caesar Salad – bold, zesty, and loaded with flavor. The Traditional Grandma Pie (pan fried) was perfectly crisp and nostalgic, and the Caruso Special Pie brought the heat with a killer combo of toppings (giardiniera). 🔥

And the service? Absolutely top-notch – friendly, fast, and made us feel right at home.

A must-try spot for any pizza lover. Can’t wait to come back! 🍽️

Me and a friend came in and ordered two pizzas. The Fibonacci and the vodka meatball… the slices are perfectly thin and crispy and packed with flavor.. one of my favorite pizzas I’ve ever tried.. the owners saw how much we were enjoying the pizzas and ended up coming out and giving us a slice of each that they had on display.. amazing people and even better food! Ha!!

This place definitely deserves the hype. We just had the “Za” pizza and I thought it was awesome they let us do half and half. We had half Gold Medal Pie (which is their classic fresh mozz and parmesan, garlic, sauce, olive oil and basil) and the other half was their Bacon Jam (which also had Calabrian chiles, red onion, scallions, and cotija cheese) Both were excellent and I really enjoyed having a more classic option paired with something more unique. The crust was pretty thin, but held up. The place is small but there were a few tables open on a Thursday night, so we were able to sit awhile and take our time. Even though it was small inside, I liked the laid back and intimate feel. The waitress was attentive and gave us recommendations. I drove about 45 mins for this and was not disappointed! Please come to the northern suburbs!

We decided to return here after 3 months. This is our second attempt to see if the pizza is any good. This time around, the restaurant was really busy with customers. We were going to order an appetizer but the veal meatballs were out. If I had any criticism, it would be to include another appetizer item like the cheese curds or arancini. We had the garlic twists before and thought they were okay. Little Pops in Lisle has garlic knots that look very familiar to these, but they do them better like they’re incredibly soft and moist with flavor.

Anyways, we just ordered the pesto and sausage pizza and nothing else. When it came out, it looked and smelled fantastic. It has a pretty decent undercarriage. The crust is crispy but it will become very chewy when it gets cold. I really loved the flavor. Tons of pesto and sausage. That hot honey really adds another layer to the flavor. The fresh mozzarella was one of the best I’ve ever had. This pizza was definitely a step up from last time. The service was wonderful, the waitress was very attentive and checked up on us often. Highly recommend checking them out. About a 4.5 but I’ll round to 5.

1/16/25 update: I tried contacting them with the email and the name of the person they provided. No answer or reply. Usually, I’ll give a second chance but this time I’ll pass. Not worth the effort.

I’ve heard so much hype about Zaza’s, so when I read that Nemec Brothers’s Pizza was created by the same owners I was ecstatic. We decided to come here since I saw it wasn’t busy according to Google’s live times. Parking can be found along the street for free. I believe those say 3 hour parking. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately. They have seating upstairs but I heard additional seating can be found downstairs. We ordered the garlic twists and then half truffle mushroom pie half white pie with sausage. Just a FYI, they don’t do single slices at night like Pie Life or Slyce of NY. Service was attentive. The server was very pleasant and made sure we got what we needed. Prices are slightly expensive, I don’t mind as long as the end product is great. I’m afraid this is a one and done for me. Overall, it’s a 3.5 out of 5.

-garlic twists 3 - In description it sounds fantastic. However, the outer layer was pretty hard. Once you get past the tough outer layer, the middle was cheesy and doughy. The sauces that came with them were fine but I would have preferred if the outer layer was softer. Something that is easy to rip apart.
-half truffle mushroom/half white pie with sausage 3.5 - The toppings I had no issues with, it was mostly the crust. The crust has a lot of chew. Ever had a medium well done steak where it feels like you’re chewing forever? That’s what it felt like here. Pie Life and Slyce did it better, the crust can be folded and required little chew. The toppings and sauce were tasty and had flavor. Also, if you’re going to eat it by hand then you’ll need a lot of napkins. It’s very messy.
