New English will always be my favorite place to grab an inside out. The food and service is always great. This longstanding, family-owned business is the heart of Marcus Hook. Like many others from the ol' neighborhood, I couldn't even begin to count how many orders I've placed at New English. From this being the neighborhood hangout as a kid, to one of our most common "go to" Friday night meals my mom would grab on her way home from work, to countless deliveries by John, to being the last meal I recently had in my childhood home right before settlement. New English isn't just about the food, it's part of your history if you grew up in MH.

In addition to inside outs, I also enjoy their fries, pizzas, cheeseburger hoagie, and cheesesteaks.

Thank you Paul Gallagher!! This is a big cheesesteak!! I am secure enough in my masculinity to admit that I was afraid to go inside. But Paul recommended it and I got a good parking spot. Big cheesesteak. Good roll. Meat had some flavor but was dry. I thought (hoping) they forgot the cheese. It needed a lot more cheese. Overall good experience.

The food here is very delicious for all the years that I lived in Delaware county I never had eaten from this restaurant they make the best cheese steak strombolis...and I'm quite sure other food that they make are on point 👉 as well so try them out you would be satisfied..

Horrible food! And their customer service is even worse. They don't give refunds and won't remake food that THEY messed up. The manager is rude, unprofessional and could care less. Don't waste your time or your money.

Do they know what soap and Water is? Bare hands handling food!!! Wear gloves or AT LEAST wash your hands!!!!! 🤢 i saw these people go on delivery runs, touch their dirty cellphones, take orders on the store phone, handle money and credit cards and then go straight BARE HANDS to preparing the food!!!!!! Food is ok…. freezer to table but the gross practices are a deterrent for me! INVEST IN DISPOSABLE GLOVES…. PLEASE!!! Ughhhhhh!!
