Farm manager stated that the brood mare, Grisham, who ended in a kill pen is now rescued and that it was a big mistake -that their horses will never go to kill pens and this will not happen again. He stated that the horse was given to a man who claimed it would be in a good home. I stated that from now on it is best to vet whoever takes your elderly broodmares because there are many people trying to make a fast buck. In the world today social media finds out when OTTB's are in kill pens and we ask connections to help re-home. I give credit to New Farm Racing for doing the right thing and stating that their horses will retire with respect at the end of their careers.

New Farm, photographed for the Courier-Post back in 2004 for our 24 hours in Evesham Township supplement. Cool little horse farm hidden deep in the woods at the end of a very long lonely road in Marlton (Evesham Township). Owners and employees couldn't have been nicer folks.

It's been here for a long time. Why is it still called "New" Farm. Other than that, they have nice race horses.
