What an incredible experience! Stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom yurt. The yurt was very well appointed and extremely comfortable. While the yurt would be perfect a family having only 1 bathroom could be an issue for 2 couples traveling together if staying for an extended period of time. The grounds are beautiful and the fire pit in the yurt village encourages guests to enjoy Nicewonder together. Don't miss the Tasting room for some delicious wines. The restaurant was great and specializes in local, fresh and innovative menus.

Truly wonderful experience! Everyone was so very accommodating. Food was delicious and the spa was just beautiful! It certainly helped that the weather cooperated and we were able to also enjoy the pool/ hot tub area. We will definitely be back. This resort is one of our absolute favorites!!!

Just came back from an absolutely fabulous and relaxing weekend, a perfect spot for a girls getaway. From the moment we arrived Ahmad and other staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We had fantastic spa facials, followed by a bite at the bar where Brooke took great care of us, later had a wonderful dinner at Hickory where Lisa had great recommendations for our meal start to finish. Time at the pool, up at the tasting room listening to music and every beautiful touch in the room made it memorable for sure! We’ll be back!

Beautiful resort!! The service was top notch. The entire staff was so friendly and professional! Rooms were spacious and very clean. One of the best short getaways that I have experienced. Enjoyed the hot tub and warm pool. Definitely will be back this year. Special thanks to Kevin, Skype and Ahmad for great conversations and care to make us feel welcomed!!

The service was wonderful. I had the best mocktail that I have ever had. Beautiful resort and grounds. The cornbread was good and my salad was very good. I had the cauliflower dish which was pretty good and my husband had a steak that was very tough and dry unfortunately. Our friends had the fish fry and Chicken breast which they did not comment on. I did expect more out of the food from the reviews that I had read for the price of our meal.

We visited Nicewonder for Valentine’s Day weekend which happened to also be our anniversary and my birthday. We truly could not have picked a better place to visit. We were BLOWN away by the beauty, serenity, and service of Nicewonder Farm & Vineyard. The staff set our visit apart. Our waiter Drew from the Hickory Restaurant made us feel at home from the first breakfast. Drew went above and beyond to make our stay special, remembering our special events complete with signed cards from the staff for our anniversary/my birthday and hand delivered sweet treats and surprises. Our bartenders were lovely and are true craftsman and mixologists (shoutout Bri and Kyle). The food was phenomenal! Chef Travis Milton clearly carefully chose each ingredient and the flavors which complimented each other so nicely. Everything was extremely fresh and house made. The front desk staff were very attentive. Ahmad took the time to tell us the history of the property and the Nicewonder family, including the fascinating story behind the painting in the lobby. We had a wonderful experience at the spa and from the professionalism of the staff to the amenities with the private hot tub and gemstone mats making the experience even better. The property is stunning. The hotel very clean. And we just can’t wait to be back for another wondrous vacation!

No way to pick one thing as a favorite as we experienced so many wonderful things during our 3 night stay. Hospitality was top notch and staff members called us by name each time we encountered them. Yoga, archery, hatchet throwing, trivia night and a guided hike were all so much fun! Relaxation, laughter, great food and wine made for a perfect sister’s getaway destination.

My wife and I enjoyed a two day relaxing time with friends at Nicewonder. The experience could not have been better. It was first class all the way. The resort, grounds, architecture and amenities are top notch. The staff is a highlight. They are exceptionally well-trained and suited for ensuring the comfort of guests. They exhibited their extra efforts many times on our visit. |The food is delicious, well-prepared and the menus cater to a wide range of appetites and food allergies. The wines are varied and special. |My wife enjoyed a massage in the spa. She raved about it being her best ever.|The ax-throwing and archery gave opportunity for robust laughs, and fun times. |The rooms are spacious, well-equiped with comfortable bedding and clean as a whistle.|We will return.
