If you’re looking for the best quality, reliability, and overall delicious organic gardening look no further! Since my first correspondence with the owner, Ashlie, I knew I was good hands! She took her time and observed what I had to work with. Upon meeting she explained her extensive education for gardening and her passion for providing a truly organic approach to handling our garden. She was prompt in sending over a written estimate and got me on the books the second I accepted. Ashlie and her wonderful team are truly the best out there! The installation went smoothly and was quite hard work as we don’t have the easiest access point. They managed to tackle every hurdle and get us set up with the best and most delicious garden ever! I highly recommend!!!! During the last visit, her sweet gardener, Chris, harvested the best zucchini and squash we have ever tasted! The garden she provided was so bountiful we couldn’t help but share it with our neighbors! During these uncertain and unprecedented times, I’m extremely fortunate to have found a quality and reliable organic gardening company!

I am Niche Gardens biggest fan! When Ashlie first came to my home, I had an area of dirt I wanted to convert into gardens and she made it all come to life! After choosing the direction they should be built, the size and the seeds, building 5 boxes and maintaining them and then showing me how to harvest, I could not have asked for a better team or a better outcome. It is so affordable and has paid for itself already via the harvests. We have finally been able to feed our family organic, home-grown food and the children could not be more thrilled to see where it all comes from. From eggplants, to broccoli, to cauliflower, to snap peas, herbs, watermelon, pumpkins, and a perfect strawberry patch (!!!!!) - it could not be better!!!! I could go on, but you get the picture. I love to get my hands dirty - no kidding but I wasn't sure working in the garden was for me. Ashely from Niche Organic Gardens was the perfect answer for a novice gardener like moi! She did the majority of the work: planning, asking questions, coming out to view my little patch of dirt, etc. She welcomed me into the wonderful world of edible organic gardening. I had no idea that with a little expect advice and a whole lot of patience, I would have had the best harvest of summer veggies EVER! In this heat mind you... go figure! Forgive if I brag a little... um a whole lot...about Ashely's expertise. I have even grown BOLD enough to actually plant a few surprise herbs of my own! The fact they actually did grow --- for a while--- was a welcome TREAT! Ashely is an organic garden goddess! Patient, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable … you are in good earthy hands!!

I bought an $800 fig tree from Niche Organic Gardens. I was really excited to find a business that provides organic gardens. Ashlie answered my initial questions promptly and scheduled the delivery as soon as I paid the invoice. The tree was advertised as coming with mint, strawberries, and edible flowers. We use a ton of mint and strawberries, so I requested skipping the edible flowers for more mint and strawberries. Ashlie noted this request on my invoice.

When the tree was delivered, it was in a black pot and had a tag on it that made it look like it was purchased from a store. I asked whether it was organically grown by them, and was told that sometimes they don’t have their own to sell. I can only hope the tree I got was organic…since that was the only reason I chose this business. When the tree was delivered, there were 6 edible flower plants, 3 strawberry plants, and 1 mint plant. I was a little confused that my request wasn’t heard, despite having been acknowledged via email and noted on the invoice. Sadly, the strawberry plants died quickly. The single mint plant is tiny and doesn’t produce enough to keep up with my use in the kitchen. The tree appears to be doing ok (not great). I hope it survives to produce figs one day.

I emailed Ashlie to express my disappointment that my request wasn’t honored and to let her know that the three strawberry plants were dead within a week of purchasing the tree. I never received a reply. That’s a hard pill to swallow after an $800 purchase. I won’t be buying from Niche Organic Gardens again.

We are SO happy with Niche Organic Gardens. They are amazing at their trade. As a bonus, they are kind people who really care about the gardens they plant.
When we signed up, I asked if they could “train me” on how to garden in this harsh AZ climate. I have received many tips from the gardeners and learned so much just watching what they do/how they do it. We have lived here for many years and have never been able to grow year round...until now!
