Wow...I highly recommend this place for fresh veggies and fruits. If you visit must try honey blaze. Along with vegetables you may like to enjoy fresh juices and chips. Mask is not compulsory but encouraged! Ohh yes, you can buy fish and honey too. I couldn't compare the price with other markets so I can't comment on the price but its kind of different experience than regular markets.

Love spending my Thursday evenings checking out the local vendors. There’s a variety of produce, juices, tamales, pastries and sweets to choose from! Everyone is so nice and makes for an enjoyable experience every time 🙂

Selection is decent and the vibe is nice when there's a band. Market service staff usually polite, if you don't interact with them directly as a business interested in sponsoring or participating in the market. Then, you will be rudely informed of inconsistent and arbitrary policies which are poorly communicated and enforced. To wit: buskers, massage are allowed; performance / poetry on demand with a typewriter is not. Canvassers are allowed; "passing out flyers" is not (though this is not enforced. Staff are haughty and dismissive when asked about ways to support the market as a local business. The market aggregates high-income customers and could be better supporting its core mission by monetizing those customers better with sponsorship and appropriate ancillary businesses. It could also train its staff to be more courteous to people who spend thousands there and are asking to spend more.

What a lovely organic market...every town and city truly ought to have such a great venue to find healthy, organic produce! I certainly wish it were so. Such great vendors! I don’t live in Berkeley, but every time I visit, I ensure that I stay long enough to visit this farmers’ market.

Most of the produce is fresh it is a little bit pricey but there are stands that not everything is pressed I went to a stand there that sold potatoes and they were soft and spongy seem like they were from last season very old otherwise good organic stuff

This small market can be hit or miss but I always have a great time talking to all the amazing vendors that come out each week! Thers a variety of fruit and veggie stands as well as a handful of meat and sauces. At the end there's always a small section for kids to sit down and play.

Excellent selection of produce and other food products including cheese, meat, poultry, fish, tomallees, soups pickiest and more. We'll run with good social distancing. Masks required and no dogs except certified service dogs.

This is a wonderful market with fresh produce whenever it is in season, meat, sea food, bread, pasta, cheese, honey, olives....
It is a joy to use. In addition, musicians entertain us, children are entranced by them.
This is a heavily used market especially during the season when there is the most fresh produce.
It is on Rose and Shattuck at 3 to 6 on Thursday. Why it says San Pablo in the header is a mystery.
