It's an organic farm. You plant, and you do community service to make gourmet compost to share, and receive beautiful harvest. With great view of ocean and sunset.

This community garden is a slice of heaven with superb views of the Pacific. The plots are quite large and you have access to everything you need within the community. I love sharing my seeds, seedlings and veggies/fruits with neighbors at the garden. Plus every Sunday, you can donate your extra harvest to a local food bank. The only negative is the long wait to get a plot, so get on the list ASAP.

This is a beautiful place that could be great if it was actually for the community. I went twice with a big need for doing our part in composting, (I let them know it's even organic) and there were so many rules n only a specific time, that we could not do it.
The person that helped us was not really nice but acted like he owned the place, which makes it pointless as a so called "Community" Garden.

Beautiful place. They have Tomatomania. Hills slope down and you actually have an ocean view. And everything is organic. Very secure. My sister is a member. You cannot just walk in, of course.

Best Community Garden in L.A.!!! It takes like 5 years to get here, but it's soooooo worth it! Growing turmeric and ginger and cayenne peppers and butternut squash. My Happy Place 🙏🌿🍄🌻🌼🌱🌏🌞🌐🌍🌷

My wife has had a plot here for almost ten years. She grows most of our veggies. It's a terrific community, there's always someone willing to help. OVF members donate extra produce to the Santa Monica food bank every Sunday. Amazing!
