Off the beaten path, brew pub. It’s has a large dining area. Place your order at the bar and then pick your seat. The staff is friendly, they take time to talk with you and socialize. By the time you sit and get comfortable your food is delivered. They were fast with their service. Burgers are juicy and flavorful. We enjoyed our lunch

Ola Brew is where you go where you want to relax and unwind and just meet happy go lucky people either locally or from abroad. The place is like any typical brewery and then it isn't. The place has that normal feel on the outside, but its nice and cool on the inside. You almost forget your in Hawai'i. If I would have known about this place sooner, I would have made it my first and last stop and every stop in between. The only thing it lacked was the beautiful ocean to gaze at. Otherwise it was perfect. The selection of brews was on pointe and the food was delicious. The staff is super friendly, you almost forget where you are. Check it out and let me know!

Great stop for lunch!had a great double smash burger and fries and my wife loved her chicken wings - big, plump and crispy with sauce on the side. Hungry with great food in front of us so forgot pics! Beer was excellent - had the OG flight - but even better, because my wife doesn’t like beer, was the fact they also did flights of hard seltzer and hard juice!

I swung into Ola a few weeks ago and I probably won't be back. I remember fondly visiting when they were new and sort of taking up the reins of the little brewery as Kona grew up and out.

I walked in and saw one clearly tourist couple at the bar, they looked absolutely miserable as they sat in silence and I assumed maybe one wanted to be there an the other didn't.

But alas as the only other patron I felt somewhat connected, being discouraged by the bartender when asking for any advice on what someone who wanted to try something new/different/etc. "Oh, I thought..." I would say being met with being told that no, I'm wrong about what I remembered from every other visit. Definitely not welcoming.

So I punted and ordered a flight, picked my favorite and had a pint. Before I finished it several "interesting" folks began accumulating around the bar. Let's just say very spirited (offensive for most people) conversation. I wasn't paying particular attention trying to tune it out and so I was caught off guard that somehow I missed last call (for me), the bartender didn't bat an eye and pointed to the crowd and said "they all work here" and told me I'm past last call for the night.

Though I can't believe as a business they would take this stance, I definitely got the vibe they were not interested in my business as an outsider. Which I can't believe after having so many welcoming experiences over the years prior and being in such a tourism based area... But as my girlfriend concluded, maybe they prefer to be locals only. Real shame if so.

So, unfortunately, I can't and won't recommend to visitors any longer.

Was looking for cider -- their hard juices are the equivalent and are excellent. Big fan of the Chili Lili -- perfect amount of spice. Wish I could have brought some home.

Been wanting to stop here for so long. Finally got the chance last week. The beer and food was really good. Wife loved the dragonfruit seltzer. I got the Boujee IPA taster and it did not disappoint. Wings, fries and if you can believe it, a roasted beet pizza was surprisingly bomb. Can't wait to go back!

Bartenders were extremely friendly and informative! I've never had hard juice before, and the blend I got was amazing - I think it was guava mango and orange. My fiance loved the lilioki milkshake IPA. We also tried a couple of small samples, and everything was delicious and high quality. For someone who does not like beer, I was seriously impressed that I would have been happy ordering half of their all tap and can drink menu. It's definitely a fun spot to get a drink!
