We had a nice lunch while driving through Hilo. This location has free parking, which is nice as on street parking may be hard to come by.

Unfortunately they were out of the brown ale but the pale ale was pretty good.

We both ordered smash burgers and split salad and fries. Our order came out very quickly within 5 or 10 minutes. The burgers were amazing. The salad was somehow better than the fries with fresh greens and dekixois dressing.

This is a delightful little gastropub, off the tourist drag on Hilo. Delicious dishes, fro seafood to burgers, with a really decent twist or two. The in-house brews are a nod to some local flavor too. We had a fair swatch of the menu, and not a single dish disappointed. We strongly recommend a stop here if you are in the area.

Great atmosphere, good service. Burger was decent. My wife had the Asian Salad with chicken which was excellent. Beers were top notch. Good parking. The herb sauce for the fries was fantastic

Must stop in Hilo!! Awesome food service and atmosphere!! Ordered the octopus, pork belly, curry fries, smash burger!! Chicken leg!! It was all amazing!! Good prices too!! Didn’t get a photo of the octopus sadly because it was so good!!

Last time I was on the island we were in Kona and went to the Kona brewery. Thought we would try OLA.
Pleasantly surprised with this gem. I had a hard juice flight. Pineapple was my favorite.
Hubby OG flight. He enjoyed them all.
Both boas were good. But shrimp was our favorite.

Damn good burger with lightning speed service. BEST BURGER IN TOWN. Great four person reggae group playing live in the corner. Fun vibe! I would have shown a pic of the burger, but I hammered it down 😝
