We went on a Saturday afternoon. It was well worth the hourlong drive. I tried almost everything and was not disappointed. Real, home cooked food! So many meats (baked ham, meatloaf, roast beef, and more) and vegetables (creamed corn, mashed potatoes, cabbage, Lima beans, green beans, Mac and cheese, fried okra, and more)! The desserts were fabulous (fresh coconut cake, German chocolate cake, apple crisp, homemade ice cream, and more)! Bonus… Very nice people and goodies for sale!

Great food, service, and people. Always great, but Friday after 4pm they also have seafood on the buffet in addition to all the normal favorites like ham, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, okra, fried green tomatoes, dressing, green beans, and on and on..... plus you can't go wrong with homemade ice cream and deserts. That's if you remember to save room. Give them a try your only regret is you are just now finding them.

Restaurants of the beaten path that are in the middle of nowhere usually end up being the best ones. The food was absolutely to die for good..The ham was the best meat on the buffet to me but they had meatloaf and country fried steak. However, there is an old pond as you go in that smells horrible and makes it look junky at first. When we got out, i thought there was an outhouse because of the smell. however, the inside a
was very clean. and the staff was very nice .. If you haven't been, it's definitely worth going at least once.. I've never really been one to eat country food, but I was amazed . and the desert bar was even good. They made homemade ice cream, and the day we went, they had coconut cake that was delicious. The salad bar was.good and fresh too.. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to the middle of nowhere and get something good to eat.

I love the atmosphere, the people, the food and the wonderful things for sale at the restaurant. The food was so delicious plus all of the ladies working hard in the kitchen were constantly filling the buffet when the food was low or almost empty. Make sure to try their homemade breads with jams. Oh and make sure you leave some room for the delicious creamy homemade vanilla ice cream, pudding truufle, cakes, chocolate dump cake, apple crisp and fruit cobblers!!! Everything and everyone were just wonderful. May the People who own & work there Be Blessed Abundantly and May Our Heavenly Father continually shower their Families with many, many Blessings!!

We went on Seafood Night (Friday). I can't recommend the seafood. It was all fried, and I'm not a fan of anyone's fried seafood. However, the ham was outstanding! The salad bar was ideal for my taste, and the vegetables were wonderful. The dessert bar was delicious! I had a small amount of almost everything!

Delicious food, we always come here to eat when we come to Alabama to visit my sister & bro in Hartselle. Especially love their stuffed mushrooms, their wings & homemade icecream. If you haven't tried this place, it's a must for sure! You won't be disappointed!!
