I would highly recommend this tour in Hanalei. I was solo but joined others for fish, juice & chocolate. I also loved the guides Kauai historical education along the tour. Great experience!

The tour was amazing! Learned a lot about the food, restaurant history, Hawaii history, etc during the tour! It felt personable and we all asked questions and he did such a great job with his knowledge on Hawaii. One of the best poke I’ve had and it was such an amazing experience, i highly recommend.

I highly recommend the food tour of Hanalei. Max was a wonderful guide to many places we would have missed, He was so friendly and enthusiastic about the local food, history, and culture. We learned so much and ate a great combination of foods as we walked around enjoying the day. Our only regret was that we didn’t plan the tour at the beginning of our trip to Hanalei. There were so many places we would have revisited after we were able to experience them with Max.

10 out of 10 would highly recommend this tour. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. There was a good variety of food and a lot of it. Good value and a perfect way to experience this cute town. Recommend you do the food tour at the beginning of your stay to learn about all the good food spots around Kauai.

Nalu (Max) was an extraordinary tour guide with a huge smile and great personality! He took us to delicious places where we stuffed ourselves on a wide variety of dishes including poke/sushi, chili pepper chicken, macadamia cream pie and more! He’s highly knowledgeable, gave us great recs and even shared Hanalei’s history. I cannot recommend this tour enough. You should 100% experience this. Thank you, Nalu!!

The Hanalei Culinary Delights Tour with Ono Kaua’i Food Tours was one of our absolute favorite experiences while visiting Kaua’i! Jedediah was an excellent guide, and this was a fun tour! It was great to do at the beginning of our visit, so we could plan where to eat the rest of our stay. Jedediah pointed out all the different restaurants that Hanalei had to offer, and we enjoyed savory and sweet items at four of them on the tour. We enjoyed learning about the local culture, and the connections that the small businesses here have with the local community for many generations. We will be trying restaurants that we might not have known about without taking this tour. It is nice to take a tour from a local born and raised, and to support a local small business owner. Highly recommended!
