Incredible experience at Ono Organic Farms with our tour guide Nick! We came with our two kids and he was kind, considerate of the kids and incredibly knowledgeable. We all learned so much, tried so many new to us fruits, and had a great time. Beautiful farm and amazing experience! Would highly recommend - and we’ll definitely be back.

My daughter and I enjoyed a personal tour of the farms by way of a mule (motorized). Our guide had been working there for 8 years and was very knowledgeable. We made several stops under various fruit trees, many of which I had never heard, and he cut fresh fruit and presented it to us on a cutting board. He provided bug spray, paper towels (needed for the juicy fruit), and hand wash. We spent 2 hours on the tour and finished back at a covered area where we filled a box full of fresh fruit to take with us! We paired this activity with a drive on the Road to Hana. It was a long drive, and treacherous at times, but we are glad we visited Ono!

Amazing tour! Our family did the farm tour with Brian, it was a fantastic experience! Highly recommend for anyone doing the road to Hana. It’s a private tour so we could go at our own pace, we got to sample so many fruits we had never even heard of before and learn about plants and cultivation. Our kids had a good time also. Brian was so knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely suggest long sleeves and pants and bug spray! Also you get to take some fruit with you so it’s better to do the tour early during your trip!

We had an unforgettable experience here. We got an amazing tour with a ton of learning, exposure, and tasting of different types of exotic fruits. Our guide Garrett was knowledgeable but also fun and kind, they really care about your experience and they have fun with you on the tour. It's nice because you don't get that regimented tourist ticketed tour feel, it's a family showing you around. We were able to try some fruits that often aren't in season picked right from the tree and they even give you a huge to go box. Was such a great time.

One of the best, if not the best, farm tours I've ever been on. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely engaging. Not to mention the fresh fruit itself was incredible. Highly recommend the private tour if you're on Maui

Ride up without four-wheel drive was a bit iffy, but the tour was terrific! Tried so many fruits that we had never even heard of. Most were delicious, but we were glad to sample them all. I especially like Acerola Cherries and Pomelo. Bobby was a fantastic tour guide and took the time to explain everything we were seeing and tasting and to answer all of our questions. We were really excited to take box of fruit to go and share with our friends on the big island.

Shady at best. I offered to volunteer on the farm and they worked out the details with me for 3 whole weeks, including a ride from town with the delivery guy. I made all of my travel arrangements, bought a few things I thought I would need while there, and was ready to go. They knew this was a dream come true for me and I was anxious to learn about farming/agriculture and eat straight from the earth. The very last week before I headed out, they cancelled on me with no real honest explanation. Supposedly they decided to hire people with experience, even though I simply was coming to volunteer. Nick couldn't even get his story straight and tried to change up what we had agreed upon, even though I have all the emails of proof. I think they really just got spooked over a few of my google reviews. If you are an honest company and good people as you claim, there would have been no worries. They did talk down about their past WWOOF experiences and said they don't like young people coming anymore. I am older and they were so excited. Obviously y'all have something to hide or you wouldn't have cancelled me over fear of a bad review. I ended up visiting Maui anyway and had the best time! So glad this didn't work out!! I just didn't get why they had such a hard time just being mature and honest, instead of shady and lying. Not great ethics....

Spent the morning cruising around the farm with one of Ono’s talented managers - such a blast! Learning about the farm’s efforts to create more equity and sustainability in environment and human health through permaculture was super cool and trying all of the fruits that were in season made it all that much better.

11/10 recommend this unique experience!
