Quality products from quality people! I have done the Open Woods CSA as well as purchased produce from Sayer at the Canaan Farmers Markets, and I'm never disappointed. Her veggies are perfect. Sayer also communicates effectively, and makes working with her and keeping up with the latest in her world easy to follow. It's worth supporting this local gem if you get the chance.

I can't say enough nice things about Sayer and Angus @ Open Woods.

We've purchased a CSA share for the past two years, and it's been great. Sayer does a lot for our community beyond providing fresh local produce.

We've also had Angus harvest a couple large trees from our property. He was great about talking through the options, actioning the work as agreed and handling the cleanup.

Highly recommend Open Woods!

Open Woods is the best! Angus removed a tree from our property that was tricky and other companies would have required machinery to do the job. Angus took care of it with skill and efficiency. Sayer's veggies are amazing. We are so grateful to have access at the Canaan market during the summer, and delivery during the other seasons. She makes it easy to consume local produce, by using modern systems but with local kindness. We buy lettuce every week, and tomato starter plants in the spring.

Open Woods vegetables are delicious (especially the radishes and cherry tomatoes), fairly priced and sold with a friendly smile! Sayer puts an amazing amount of knowledge and care into growing produce. The home delivery service in the off-season (and COVID) was just what I needed- Thank you!

High quality vegetables, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), available at the Canaan Farmer's Market make Open Woods a favorite in the area. A community staple for years to come. I would recommend people get on the list for next year's CSA.

Great folks to buy your veggies from with a great selection and super fresh! They also sell plant in the spring and my goodness the tomatoe plants I got this year did not disappoint (the speckled Romas were amazing). I believe they do some tree work as well.
