I visited the island a few weeks ago I bought a few orchids to ship to my mom in Florida they were boxed beautifully arrived on time even with all the weather going on out east thank you thank you I will be calling you to send more!! Thank you!!!!
Also after reading the reviews they seemed to have changed the policy on photos she just ask you ask her before you do this is a wonderful find and a gem of a flower shop

Don't blink, or you will miss this little alley packed with treasures. There are many different varieties of orchids available for sale here, except the one we were looking for, the Monkey Faced Orchid. Turns out that one grows in a colder climate. Oh well. If you do find one that you want to buy, they will ship it to the mainland for you or pack it as a carry-on for your flight home. They request that no pictures be taken of the flowers without permission from the proprietor. She was a crusty old bird, but gave me permission after clear instructions on what is permissible. She was also encyclopedic with her knowledge and gave us many tips on care for our orchids at home. All in all, we enjoyed our visit to the store very much. Our only regret was not packing the orchid fertilizer we bought in our checked luggage as it was seized going thru the TSA inspection. Lesson learned. What a treat this little alley was! Beautiful orchids, I loved the chocolate smelling one! There were some orchids I had never seen before, so colorful and bright. Lovely little lady full of knowledge and willing to answer all questions.

I was trying to take photos and the elderly woman asked Do you mind stepping away from the orchids...so I moved back. Then I moved down the line and once again she put her hand in front of me as though to move me and said it again. I was at least 2 feet away from the plants. At that point I asked her HOW FAR DO YOU WANT ME TO GO and I just told my friend Let's Go. Jesus, can't even look at the plants. Not according to this lady - it was ridiculous. I was going to purchase a few of them and ship back to Oahu but after that I wouldn't give that shop the time of day. I wasn't even allowed to see up close so I said forget it.

We picked out our orchids in person and had them shipped to our home. They arrived as promised by two day air. The packing job was amazing! Every bloom was separated and wrapped in cotton. The bloom stem was then wrapped in tissue paper that was taped in place. That was wrapped in shredded newspapers and then incased in solid newspaper that was thoroughly taped to the cardboard box! The plants were lightly moist for the trip. We could detect no difference in the plants between in the shop and when they arrived stateside. Marvelous packing job! Gorgeous plants to enjoy!

This is my favorite orchid shop! They always have the most beautiful orchids! I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're a plant lover looking for a unique souvenir. I bought the orchids in the store and had them shipped to my home on the mainland. They arrived within 2 days and were packed extremely well. They even included a care card. They don't allow photos in the store. But the worker was very nice and was willing to answer my questions. They were also happy to show me any of the orchids I was interested in. The shop can be hard to spot, but they do have a sign out front for it.
