Came here because I loved the P&M plants at the retail stores. But came here and very disappointed. Alot of unlabeled prices, messy and un organized I was hoping to get a flower basket but they were all just very messy and not appealing . Than asked about growing a veggies the staff didn’t have knowledge ( what kind of worker don’t have knowledge of the product they sell?) asked the manager and she seem so short and I was very dissatisfied of my first time inside won’t be going back.

I have never been to a nursery where I couldn’t leave without wanting more than 5 flower baskets!

I will go to my regular Perennials Nursery in Chugiak.

I am not sure if they are open during this crisis but I was so happy to see the P & M starts at a local grocery store today. Knowing that they are still working to make sure that we can all still grow our own flowers, herbs and produce this summer is wonderful! With the kids stuck at home during this “hunker down” period, growing starts is a perfect activity to keep them occupied. I’ve been a customer of P & M for two decades and I feel so fortunate to have such a great place to escape to right in Eagle River. Their selection is extensive and they are always so helpful and kind. They carry many varieties of trees and shrubs as well. Over the spring and summer, I think potted flowers and plants make excellent gifts, you will not be disappointed with the choices you will find at P & M. Support Alaskan grown products, especially now during this crisis!

Spring 2022: Starts are started! The greenhouses are brimming with growth and it is time to get in early and collect what you need to brighten the yard as soon as the weather cooperates.

They have a huge selection of plants, and the prices are so good as well. The greenhouse wasn’t open when I went, but if it’s anything like the houseplant side, it’s amazing.
