Got this as an addition to my lunch. The guy that rang me up was very RUDE!....Did not greet me or anything. As soon as transaction was done he walked away, didn't even ask if I wanted my stuff to be bagged. Had to ask him for a bag, seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. After I had to ask for a bag, he came back, bagged my stuff and threw it to the end of the bagging area...seriously rude.

Palama Supermarket is one of my go-to spots in Hawaii when I'm looking for authentic Korean ingredients and dishes. One of my favorites has to be their bulgogi sushi—it’s a perfect fusion of tender, marinated beef and the simplicity of sushi. When I'm just grabbing a quick bite, Palama Supermarket always gives me a real taste of Korea.

Sorry my review is a bit late but I’ve been very very busy 😓. Palama Supermarket! I love coming here. Its small, easy to navigate, not crowded and in my hometown of Aiea so any reason to come back here is a good one because I LOVE AIEA 💖 ALOT. Lol. My mom LOVES their Gobo Kimbap, Chap Chae, and egg omelette. I have a vegetarian friend who’s crazy about their Veggie Kimbap. Buys a Bunch at a time and was the one that recommended the Kimbap here for my mom. I love the BBQ Bulgogi meat, Spicy Chicken and Kalbi you can pick up to take home to pan fry and grill. Also candy sweets and drinks. Decent sake here too tried the cantaloupe 🍈 it was good. Love the lemonade in the bottle and my family loves the tubs of Kim Chee. There is a take out inside as well that I haven’t tried yet but i plan to. Support local!!! 😉👍

This happened on a Saturday morning and store wasn’t busy .Cashier named, Joy, was busy talking to the other cashier , didn’t bother to say anything as I said “hello” as I put my items down. She proceeded to ring up the items without saying anything or looking my way. She just kept talking to the other person . I said “thank you “ and again nothing. Things like this don’t usually bother me but to ignore customers and seemingly annoyed as she needed to do her job is unacceptable. 🥴🥴🥴 Awesome customer service !

This is a smaller version of the downtown store. It has everything you need to cook up some major Korean grinds. They also have a small Korean food counter called Waimalu Korean Takeout. Great food! Fresh Kim chee sides. Try the BBQ pork, it's awesome.

Still my go to in Aiea for Korean items. Most items here are authentic make for a great night.

Also available is cooked items. They offer bentos, sushi’s, soups.

If you are having a great yakiniku night, they sell thinly sliced meats and all the sides.

6/11/2021 They had Chocolate Churro Turtle Chips for $2.99 a bag. That's the cheapest price I've seen so far!

Palama Market's products are always well organized. They have some ready to eat items, such as fried mandoo, pumpkin porridge, omelet rolls, tteokbokki, sesame rice ball cakes, and assorted small bentos. Smiling cashiers and a variety of products make this a great place to shop!
