Fantastic shop with fantastic people! Discovered this gem of a store when we passed through town to get gas next door.

Husband got the 7” Italian. I got the 7” Turkey sub (see attached photo after I had taken a voracious bite). Hubs declared it big enough to last a meal and a big snack later. I’m personally a glutton so I finished my sub and now I’m in a food coma writing this review with a content smile on my face.

The store is mostly a butcher shop with a deli counter in the corner. Gabe, Debbie, and Jodie (sorry if I got folks’ names wrong— my always-screaming toddler has demolished my sense of hearing…) are just super friendly people! They even had the patience to give my (always energetic) toddler ALL the fist and elbow bumps he wanted. At one point, my toddler lunged at Gabe with a hug so that’s how you know these are good people!!

Pro-tip: Jodie also let us know that Thursdays are steak night and Friday are seafood night so now my husband and I are both scheming how to drive by this place on either of those days on our future road trips!

No indoor sitting area, but there are two picnic tables out front. There are also frozen bags like pierogis and fresh made things like banana bread slices!

Outstanding food and service. The fried haddock was excellent as was the Mac and cheese and salad. No doubt I will be stopping in to eat next time I make it their way.

The fresh meats looked fantastic but I did not purchase today. Lovely fat steaks with beautiful marbling were on display.

Best kept secret in town! Killer dinner specials daily in colossal portions at unbelievable bargain prices. Solid home cooked meals. Perfect for travelers as it's a quick on and off right at route 15. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't check it out!

I enjoy going in and ordering fresh cuts of meat. It doesn't matter if it's a thick jouice steak or a 5lb roast at 'pa pa the butcher's ' are happy to cut it fresh for you.

Need I say more than fresh meats! Great place. Take care of you quickly and very polite. They also have deli meat, pasta and potato salads. Ready to eat lunch foods also if you are looking for a meal at lunch time. Definitely recommend going here any time you can.

Well where do I start. The smell of the place made me physically ill. The handful of cuts of meat they had looked days old. The whole place smelled like rotten salmon. Definitely not anywhere I'd feel safe eating anything. I won't even spend a free gift card there. It's truly that bad. A health inspector needs to walk in there asap.id have loved to get a couple steaks but not salmonella.
