My second time being there in a span of 10+ years. Food is amazing...well thought out, layers of flavors that marry well together. The wine flight was a great blend of different flavors. It's more than eating out. It's a culinary adventure.

Atmosphere and Ambiance
Walking into Paradise Pantry, we were greeted by a warm, rustic ambiance that perfectly combines the charm of a gourmet marketplace with the comfort of a cozy bistro. The setting is intimate yet lively, making it a fantastic spot for both a casual lunch and a romantic dinner.

Service
The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.

Food

Charcuterie Board
We started with the charcuterie board, which was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The selection of meats and cheeses was thoughtfully curated, featuring a variety of textures and flavors that complemented each other beautifully. The board was accompanied by a delightful array of house-made pickles, mustards, and bread, adding layers of taste and complexity to each bite.

Chef Kelly's Pasta with Salmon
Next, we indulged in Chef Kelly's pasta with salmon. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with a delightful al dente texture that held up well to the rich, creamy sauce. The salmon was exquisitely tender, its flavor harmonizing wonderfully with the fresh herbs and subtle hints of lemon in the dish. This entrée was a standout, showcasing the chef's skill in balancing flavors and textures.

Ceviche
We also tried the ceviche, which was refreshingly light and packed with vibrant flavors. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the citrus marinade provided the perfect zing. The addition of avocado and cilantro added a creamy and aromatic element that elevated the dish even further. It was a refreshing and satisfying choice, perfect for a summer day.

Stumbled upon the cutest French inspired Bistro right here in Ventura @paradisepantrymarket !!! Can’t believe I’ve been here for 2-years and just now discovering this amazing restaurant!

This chef focuses on seasonal, local ingredients for their rotating menu. On this trip I tried the Country Pate, Port Wine marinated mission figs w/ fresh Parmesan cheese and rosemary walnuts for starters and finished with the Sea-bass and Spinach with charred lemon 🍋

Every bite was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful place in midtown Ventura. The food was delicious, and the ambience really nice. The street is closed off, so no traffic noise as you're devouring your food! Nom nom 😄

Absolutely love this place. Everything is always incredibly fresh and delicious. I've never had a salad so fresh and crispy in my life. The cheese plate I ordered the other day came with these amazing olives in a house-made citrus marinade. I never thought I'd be so impressed with a simple olive. Their house-pickled veggies are also definitely worth a try. They always have a variety of weekly specials (which can sometimes sell out quick!) and some of the ingredients in their staple dishes may vary slightly, since they stick with local and seasonal offerings and produce. I love how they have a little shop connected to their restaurant where you can buy cheese, wine, and other goodies. This spot has something for everyone and is definitely a must try! Note: Some of these photos are prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. As of this review, indoor dining is still not available, but there are about 10-11 outdoor tables for dining in.

We sat at the bar this time and got wonderful recommendations for food and wine. The vegan green soup was to die for and the Sicilian Sashimi was excellent. My husband got killer Mac n cheese with an egg on it. He said it was delicious but he devoured it so fast, I wasn’t able to try it. I always get whatever is recommended by the cheese monger. Last best cheese was a goat semi-hard cheese called Ewephoria!

We had two amazing brunches in one of the best restaurants I've ever been in United States.

It's European style, it's vibrant, the food is delicious! Our servers Mia and Jennifer were so kind, friendly and professional.
We also met Cynthia Katherine and she is a compassionate and beautiful soul🤍 talked about my home country Ukraine with her and she gave me a hug🥺
