Stopped into the store to check on some pricing for Citrus plants I used to be in the furniture business and I have always heard that they had furniture as well. Well I'll tell you not only were the plants more affordable than anywhere else in town for the same plants also they had a huge selection of furniture tables wood items I'll tell you it was a really really nice store. And best thing you'll be supporting locally owned business.

Worst service ever sold me a broken 1400$ bed i paid cash for was supposed to come deliver and set up i had to go pick it up becuse of their incompetence. Once i asked to speak to someone about a refund or potential swap because i did indeed want the bed frame or or at least something to sleep on and basically told me deal with it nothing they could or were willing to do, and refer their refund policy that they neglected to give me as well as an receipt, Couldn't even send someone down to help a brother out when i offered to pay for labor and time. Robbery and false advertisement. My Lawyers contacted. Manager super rude and definitely needs to learn to properly run a business. Because they do not put the customer first, proceeded to tell me they make all these big sales all the time and I'm not important. Yet couldn't even have the 1400 on hand upon arrival for return, will definitely be buying this business considering the debt they have. terrible staff. Will never refer anyone to them.

Got eight orchids plus other plants here on a vacation from Alaska. The certified orchids were expertly wrapped by the staff there, and a quick stop by the state agri department got the rest certified in a flash. We packed it all up and took it as checked baggage home and they're all doing amazing! One of the orchids just opened a new flower.

This shop is for wealthy new age hippie cliche types. If you do not fall into that demographic you likely will not enjoy this establishment. Much of the goods sold here are just marked up AliExpress junk. Expect to pay grossly marked up prices for all the tacky teak too. It's also annoying that they have a lot of non-native plants labeled as native Hawaiian. Google is free, so I must assume that their false claims of native plants are deliberate. None of the plants look healthy and well cared for, and many of them are mislabeled.

Update 2/12/22: There is a new shipment in from Bali and there are many beautiful benches, tables, chairs and more furniture, including some designs we have not seen before. Look in the store AND the warehouse for all the furniture. My favorite item in the store is a small square dining table with rose gold colored legs made right here on the Big Island. Animal lovers, also check out two types of paw shaped stepping stones next to the warehouse. So cute!

They have plants but also so much more. Make sure to check out the store, warehouse and outdoor areas. There are little surprises all throughout.

The plants are great. There are plants for yards and for pots. There are flowers (including unusual orchids), herbs, and baby fruit trees.

Indoors, they have a lot of nice, fairly unique gifts for $25-$100 such as sun catchers, wind chimes, wall decor, ceramic dishes and Christmas ornaments. There are flower pots and baskets, lamps and some furniture too. The staff is friendly and can hold items for you at the register while you shop for more.

In the warehouse, they have fun indoor/outdoor rugs at reasonable prices. They usually have nice wood furniture (indoor and outdoor) but inventory seems low at the moment.

I stopped in for a specific plant and was impressed by the selection and how much more they have to offer, from a great selection of planters to all sorts of furniture and decorative items for your home. I received friendly, welcoming assistance, and she put my plants in a nice box for transporting them home. I will definitely be back when I have more time to spend exploring this great store.

I live in North Carolina and my mother lives in Hawaii outside Hilo. I just wanted to say how pleased I was with my purchase of a Gardenia gift package. They delivered it to her just before Mothers Day and she was very happy with it. JD helped me with the purchase over the phone and he provided exceptional service! I will very likely be buying again from Paradise Plants.
