Went to Park Wood today 3/26/25 for the first time. Drove almost 2 hrs one way just for the experience and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The sandwiches and pizza were absolutely amazing. Also a huge deli case full of all types of salads and specials. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. And Roger “the deli guy” is an absolute gem. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. What you see on TikTok is no show. He’s legit awesome. He was so nice he even came out and helped my handicapped dad in the car and thanked us for coming from so far. Can’t say enough good things about it. If I lived close I’d be there for lunch daily! But I will definitely be back again. Thanks again Roger!!

Park features both pizza and deli sandwiches. Ordered the NJ Devil and was satisfied by how overstuffed and well "juiced" it was. Sweet peppers were abundant and the bread had structure and chew to handle the thinly sliced meat. Mozz was fresh too. Definitely adding to my local rotation and need to try square pies next. Note, parking is behind store on a one way Erie street, can't park on Glenn.

I have been following the "Deli Guy" for a little over a year, and today, I finally had the opportunity to see what all the hype was. Well, DA WOOD lived up to ALL THE HYPE.
The deli sits on a corner in a residential area where parking is limited, but it seems that customers have respect for the Deli Guy and the community as they park respectfully, not to block others, driveways and or park on people's property. When you walk into the store, there is pizza on the left and cold food, sweets, and sandwiches on the right. The Deli Guy was there hustling, making sandwiches with his crew. I placed my order, and I call it the "Stinky Chicken Sandwich," chicken cutlet, bacon, provolone (extra sharp), garlic/oil, and carmalized onions on a long roll. The chicken cutlet was FULL of Italian flavor, reminds me of Nonna's. The onions cooked to perfection and the bacon, thick and actually cooked. The sandwich was a 5 out of a 5 Night, Night meal. This means that if I finish it and want to take a nap afterward, I rank it as a 5.
The service was excellent. The young lady who cashed me out was very pleasant.
I will be returning very soon to try the pizza.
Spot on Deli Guy!!

Went to this location specifically to meet the deli guy and what a gentleman he is. God talking about a few things as I'm from Toronto and I decided to stop here on my drive to Newark. International Airport was served a great ham and egg New Jersey breakfast which was absolutely amazing. The ham was great with the eggs and cheese. And then the star of the show I took it to go was the Francesca. What a great sangweech I like to say.. fresh ingredients. Very filling. Like visiting these small hidden gems. Thanks again Mr. Deli guy

I live in Baltimore and drove up to New England to catch the Patriots game and HAD to make the stop to Parkwood and see the deli guy! Absolutely top notch sandwiches. Enthusiastic workers and they go above and beyond to help you. Will definitely go back if any trip I take has me in the NJ area!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Parkwood Deli – Midland Park, NJ

If you’re looking for a deli that delivers on flavor, quality, and atmosphere, look no further than Parkwood Deli in Midland Park, NJ. This place isn’t just a sandwich shop—it’s an institution, home to some of the best sandwiches you’ll ever eat and the one and only Deli Guy, who has taken TikTok by storm with his legendary sandwich-making skills, quick wit, and all-around great personality.

After a grueling day on the ambulance, running non-stop since 6 AM without so much as a second to eat, we finally had the chance to sit down and refuel, and let me tell you—Parkwood Deli was exactly what we needed. The moment we unwrapped our sandwiches, we knew we were in for something special.

I went with the Waldwick Warrior, and it was nothing short of perfection. The crispy, savory prosciutto, the smooth, creamy mozzarella, the peppery arugula, and the sweet yet tangy roasted red peppers, all drizzled with rich balsamic, came together in the most flavorful, satisfying bite imaginable. After running calls for hours on end with nothing in our stomachs, this sandwich didn’t just hit the spot—it brought us back to life.

But what truly sets Parkwood apart isn’t just the food—it’s the experience. The moment you walk in, you’re met with genuine hospitality, an old-school deli feel, and a staff that treats you like family. And of course, The Deli Guy himself makes the experience even better. Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, he makes sure you leave with a sandwich in your hand and a smile on your face.

And let’s not forget—the menu here is absolutely fantastic every sandwich is made with top-quality ingredients and piled high with flavor.

After 12+ hours of chaos, exhaustion, and zero food, Parkwood Deli delivered in every possible way. The Waldwick Warrior was pure magic, and there’s no doubt I’ll be coming back for more. If you haven’t been to Parkwood yet, do yourself a favor and get there ASAP.

Five stars, hands down—one of New Jersey’s best delis, period.
