Wow what a disappointment. I did not expect much but these people are not willing to work with you. Came to pick up a load at 2pm and they said its ready from yesterday and we will get you a door very soon. After 2h went to check again they said about an hour. They left it for the 2 shift which has not a single care or rush to help or provide any information of what to expect. They make excuses how they just arrived and thats it but no effort in helping. I sense a lot of laziness around here and a lot of wasted time.
I don’t appreciate how they just don’t cere about your time and the willingness to help is 0. Dont recommend this facility. I can only imagine how much you wait when they have to make the fresh chicken. God help you. My load was even ready and just needed to be transferred from another trailer to mine.

As an advocate for truckers I would hope the other reviews about this facility are untrue. But judging from my experience today, I can only say good things about them. I watched them get almost 10 truck in and out of there in an hour working with 3 docks. I was one of the 10 truckers in and out of there in an hour. These are competent, efficient, professionals, thanks Peco Foods, I’ll continue to haul for them!

Un organized place for truckers. Expect to wait here for more than 7hrs. In my case checked in 11:00am now it is 18:00 and still didn’t get loaded. They don’t have drivers waiting amenities, they don’t care abut drivers time and health.

Very unprofessional workplace. There is a huge racial division problem here. A lot of the workers here are very rude and have zero consideration for others; And management are to blame. Management openly show favoritism. They have unreasonable expectations from workers, no matter if you just walked in the door. They do not properly train newcomers. A lot of bullying happens here and is tolerated. I have been to HR several times to report my line lead, Sup’s and others that were bullies and nothing ever happened. No dependable , sensible authority whatsoever. There is no set time of getting off work ever. The job I was doing (poultry processing), inflicts a lot of pain on your hands, wrist, joints and back right away! They do not properly rotate their workers, every hour, like they tell you in orientation, (and this is a primarily standing job). You will have to wait for a restroom break, and may get overlooked or just not get one ,for a while. And this place is always short staffed, mainly due to the poor treatment shown by other workers and management, from day one. It’s like they bet on how long new people will stay, after they are purposely and practically running them off; knowing we desperately needed the help! So if you are a worker who decides to try and stick it out, they will expect you to put in double the work, without reasonable accommodation and no breaks; While they’re (leads and SV) just walking around joking with friends or watching your line struggle, turning a blind eye. There were a few courteous members of management; But the majority that weren’t had each others backs, no matter how valid and numerous the complaints against them were; And while they oppressed and tried to make a fool out of their employees. Most of the good co workers that I’d talk to understood that these things were happening and desperately wanted their to be change just as bad as I did. So hopefully this place can improve majorly one day.

The workers are ok but people in shipping are awful and lazy. The first shift always put more work on the evening shift by not completing there work.
