I called today to inquire about milkweed, and the gentleman who answered the phone knew his inventory and pricing without needing to go check.

He shared that they just sold out of their large plants over the past week and what they have now is too young to sell yet. They'll be ready shortly (by next week-- and today is Frirday)

SIDE NOTE: Monarchs need more habitat. Their population dwindled drastically in recent years. Help by planting Milkweed and trimming it back 6-10" by 10/31. ♡ It is important to trim it back to help it thrive and also to minimize the potential of OE, a bacteria that is causing many deaths in the monarch butterfly population. If you acquire caterpillars, and find they are dying or Monarchs can not fly after enclosing from the chrysalis, please research the matter. Please do not allow EO to spread. Helping Monarchs will bless you if you choose to care for them.

This is such a great place! I drive from south orange county to buy my plants there because the prices are great and the plants are healthy. Purchased a couple of olive trees and 5 small italian cypress and they are alive and thriving. Will be back soon!

!!! WARNING, DO NOT GO HERE !!! I bought a Fig Tree ($39), planted it in the ground (every other tree I have planted has grown, never a problem). When I was there, I felt the branches and buds, and I said "...this tree looks dead..." and the owner said "....It will grow - it's just dormant now...". So I bought it. No growth, nothing. Nothing ever changed on the tree. In spring, all my trees bloomed, not this one. I should have followed my instincts, but the owner seemed nice, but a guarantee was not discussed.

So....I called the place. I told him what happened. He said, did you plant it? (I thought...Well...of course - why would I not have planted it?) Anyway, he gives this answer, "....All our fig trees bloomed, and were sold, I don't have anymore. If you brought it back in the container, (and here's where it gets really weird) we could tell you whether you watered too much, didn't water enough, or did something else to cause it not to grow. So, there's nothing I can do for you." OMG - so basically he's telling me no matter what, they'd figure out how to tell me it's my fault regardless.

Usually I'm a good repeat customer, and will from now on stick with Home Depot where I can, which has a money back guarantee.
