It's very unsettling that this State Department is tasked with food inspection for the entire State considering they don't even answer the phone, and every time you're forwarded you go to another voicemail. I'm just going to have to avoid eating food at restaurants in the state and it makes sense why they have so many problems, because there's no oversight. I'm very resourceful and it shouldn't take me hours to try to find or leave messages in order to get a complaint taken about food poisoning and bad Sanitation. It makes perfect sense though, because the restaurants doing it don't even seem slightly concerned about repercussions. Another great example of too big to fail, and too big to even function.

Reported East Berlin VFW in PA last year for kitchen not up to code nor servesafe and they did NOTHING!! Some reason they never got inspected past 2 years. Do your jobs!!!!

You need to do an unannounced inspection on the VFW in East Berlin PA. Don't call and schedule an inspection. Yes, it's pretty gross.

I have never had such a pleasant experience dealing with a government agency.
These women, especially Jessica and Nada were so helpful and efficient.
They answered my questions, sent out the forms I needed and even returned phone messages.
Maybe they could teach other agencies what true service is.
