On a trip from Scotland with the family. Love a good brisket. This was fantastic. Our family took a trip to the park along the road and enjoyed it on the park benches. Top notch. Mac n cheese is superb along with the Brisket. Friendly and helpful staff too. Thanks!!

Amazing place. Old school southern BBQ. Perry has that backwood GA smokin' down. I eat BBQ everywhere that I go. I've had the best around the country, and Perry's is right there with the best I've ever had. I had the 2 meat combo with St Louis ribs and beef brisket with Mac and cheese and baked beans. Everything was amazing. Fall off the bone and melt in your mouth meat. I ate 80% of the meat without sauce because, frankly, it doesn't need any added flavor. But, since the meat was so good, I figured they knew what they were doing with the sauces. So, I put a little sauce, both hot and regular, on the last bit of meat. And.. it was equally amazing. If you are within 30 minutes of Sarasota and do not try this BBQ, then you have not lived a complete life.

Small parking lot, so parking maybe an issue if there are a lot of people here at one time.

To get a bit of taste of a lot of the items on the menu , I got the following it’s:

1/4 rack of Ribs
Brisket sandwich
Pull chicken
Collard greens
Macaroni
Corn bread

The ribs were good. Wood grilled smoke taste to them. And to be honest.. these are probably the best Ribs I had while in Sarasota (go try for your self and let me know) most places I tried where all wood grilled. But some weren’t seasoned, some were tough, and one place just wasn’t good, but here I can’t complain, there good

The Brisket sandwich was ok at best. The brisket didn’t have much flavor like I hoped for. It was 2 big wide cut slices ( I have photos to show) that were marbled and moist but sadly didn’t have much flavor. Put BBQ sauce on this to help.

Pulled chicken was good. Not dry/but not moist. Had good Smokey flavor to it that I liked

Baked beans were good as well. I like the vinegar taste in them. Wish it had either some meat in here. Bacon, or beef.

Collard greens were really Good. I would add a lil vinegar to it (or a lil more vinegar) sense I like mine with. a lil tangy to it. I highly recommend this

The macaroni was disappointing.. I seen a review where it spoke highly on the macaroni but I guess the probably enjoy Crafts macaroni a lot because that’s what this taste like. Now you can obviously tell this was marked with the crust and cheesy texture on top… but it just taste like crafts.

Now lastly the cornbread.. this was a gem I was happy I got. I never had cornbread that had this creamy type of honey/peanut butter taste … it’s kind of hard to explain but its fully flavorful and this was different from other cornbread I have tried

I recommend stopping here to give them a try

First time in today and I absolutely love this place. Everything was amazing, the pulled pork was perfectly smokey and tender so delicious. The mac n cheese was great, classic cheesy rich taste w/ a crispy top and the potato salad is sweet and simple. The prices and portions are unbeatable for the quality and how good everything tastes. And Dont forget the cornbread!!
Everyone working was friendly and great customer service. Cant wait to go back for the ribs!! Thankyou

We were sitting around talking about something sweet. We all had a sweet tooth and was hungry at the same time. Then somebody brought up sweet potato pie. Why did they say that? Now normally on August you can't really find a good sweet potato pie but low and behold my people told me about this place.

I am not from Sarasota so I didn't know the gem they had down the road. Literally. So what did we do? Call them. How many lies do you have? I have three left. Hold them I'm on my way.

Now once my friend for there she decided to buy some barbecue too. So we could snack but the main objective today was pie. She scooped up some brisket sandwiches and some ribs too.

When she walked in the house and gave me my own individual pie I'm thinking it's just a slice. Nope it's an individual deep dish pie for one person. Did I say deep dish? Oh yes God! The crust was not store bought. It had a heavy presence of butter, it was flaky and it was also slight sweet. I could have ate the pie crust all by itself. The taste omg just the right texture. It was heavy, not loose. Sweet but not overpowering the sweet potato. Just the right amount of butter, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Jesus my friend can't never come visit Atlanta without bringing me at least two of these pies. I couldn't eat it all at one time either. So not sleep on these pies. Oh and there were no strings either.
The barbecue was dry rub and some of the best I have ever had. I wish I had more of it but again it was a snack and not the focus.

Best believe I will have me another pie.

My job has ordered it for company events multiple times over the last few years. It's so good. I love the pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, potato salad and hot bbq sauce. 10/10, 5 stars.

Really good pull chicken, macaroni and cheese, and green beans.

Really good sweet potato pie.
