Very clean area and the cabins are so nice and comfy. My husband and I stayed there with out two kids and we had the bed and they had the pull out bed in the couch. Cute little studio cabin right next to the beach. There's a laundry mat a few doors down and a restaurant and bar.

Beach front cabins, furnished kitchen, great location, recently renovated, quiet, great beach has a surfing side and a calmer side. Nice restaurant on site - The Beach house by 604. Coin operated laundry on-site currently $1.75 per load. Not a touristy location, a lot of homeless on this side of the island but still worth exploring this area nice beaches and scenic mountains. There are a few other restaurant options but with a full kitchen and a grill you can save some money by eating in. Beautiful sunset watching spots. Saw several turtles while snorkeling and a bunch of spinner dolphins off shore. One thing not stocked in the kitchen was paper towels. Rooms have plenty of bath towels and will bring more daily if needed. We stopped by the commissary on Hickam before coming here some groceries and of course steaks for the grill . Things to see on this side of the Island - Ka’ena State park, Kaneana cave, Mermaids Cave. We did a boat charter out of Ko Olina marina with MANA cruises very nice sailboat / snorkel tour. You need base access to get in there are MP’s around the clock at the gate. They said they rover around periodically - outsiders could access this area from the beach bypassing the guards but I didn’t see that happening. You see a lot of homeless on the drive here and this side looks sketchy but we felt secure. There is a lot of beautiful scenery here as well. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, just a nice laid back non touristy spot.

Fabulous. Cozy cabins. They were very clean and stocked with everything needed. Sunsets are beautiful, and each cabin faces the beach. Quick walk to the restaurant within the rec area. Beach is phenomenal. Lots of surfers from sunrise to sunset. Saw many dolphins playing in bay as well. Surrounded by beautiful view of mountains. This was our second time staying here. Fantastic view for sunsets. Good area with local markets and eateries nearby. Staff was always super friendly and helpful with typical tourists questions. Highly recommend calling in as much advance as possible due to high demand!

Very clean facilities. I like that they provide dishes, cookware and bath towels. They just renovated too and have new linen.
We arrived late in the evening but we were still able to retrieve our keys without issue. We also forgot to go to reception after our first night to properly check in but they were kind about it and we settled our bill in the way out.
Such a peaceful place and the beach is very clean.

For eligible DOD patrons, recently renovated cabins offer excellent oceanside views and an outstanding beach area. Very busy on weekends with families enjoying the beach and ocean surf. On-site dining at the Beach House by 604 serving lunch and dinner- brunch is served on weekends.

They're still updating the cabins. Pics of the remodels look very nice. We're staying in an older unit not yet remodeled, but comfy. Love the sounds of the ocean and music from 604 Restaurant drifting in. Whale watching this morning from our cabin on the bay. And there's a turtle just offshore. Great experience

We love coming to Piilaau Army Recreation Center! The water is always clear and inviting. The remodeled cabins are very nice and well appointed. This stretch of beach has a really calm side that the little kids love, and a reef break that will satisfy your need to get a few rides on a longboard or OC1. The sunsets are AMAZING and dolphins will greet you in the mornings. There is a little fishing to do off the jetty and the nights are filled with roasting marshmallows and catching sand crabs. So many great memories to be made here!
