Went there to pick up my Annual Parking Pass for Ft. De Soto/Sand Key/Fred Howard. I think it was like $35. with the Veteran's discount (normally $60.) but don't quote me on those numbers. I have since gotten my money's worth, I believe. Ironically, I live about 10 minutes from Clearwater Beach but I have no interest in going there at all. Too crowded, too "touristy" and very expensive. I instead go to Sand Key Park, which is MUCH nicer and is located close enough.

The person that answered the phone named Andy was not helpful or should ever be answering phone!! This is not my first encounter with the group at the gardens..never have had a pleasant experience with any of them. Whenevr I have stopped in to ask a question they have treated me like an idiot. I have a degree in plant science, not your regular home gardener.

I came here to visit the botanical garden but couldnt help but notice that a majority of the ladies who work at the Pinellas County Extension are ridiculously attractive. It's insane!
