We had a great time. It had been 48 years since I was last at PCC, brought wife and kids that had never been to Hawaii. Went to PCC for the tourist experience and they had an awesome time. From the interactive shows, to the meal, to Ha! the final show with singing, dancing and lots of fire! It was an all day adventure. We had the Gateway Buffet instead of luau meal and it was great; lots of food choices and great service. For the cost of Oahu luaus it is hard to beat the value for first time visitors.

The Polynesian Cultural Center is a captivating destination for visitors to Hawaii. We secured tickets with transportation, which took approximately an hour to reach. The diverse villages showcasing the cultures of Hawaii, Fiji, and Samoa are highly inviting. The intricate structures and the numerous performances offered are truly remarkable. The ambiance is exceptional.

The sole drawback of this attraction is the necessity of multiple days to explore its entirety. I opted for a guided tour, which proved to be both informative and enjoyable. The tour guides led us to popular shows and engaged us in various games. The staff’s warm hospitality ensured our comfort throughout our visit.

While a single day may not suffice to experience all that the center has to offer, the culinary delights at the luau were exceptional. The Breath of Life show concluded our trip on a high note.

If you find yourself in Hawaii, I highly recommend booking your tickets to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

This place is awesome! It's like Polynesian Disneyland. The shows and food are top notch. I love that it's something educational to do while on vacation. We loved learning about the different Polynesian cultures and now have more understanding and appreciation for the native people. It's fantastic that a large portion of the money we paid for the tickets goes toward the education of the Polynesian students going to the University here. I highly recommend going for the super ambassador tickets if you want great seating at the shows but it's not necessary. It's a wonderful family tradition to go here.

I have to say this was a fantastic experience, completely worth the money. The people representing each island chain were so enthusiastic and brilliant at what they do whether it be teaching us of the many cultural aspects of each island, the activities or the performances. The buffet was spectacular, and the breath of light show was insanely good! It entertained from adults down to our 2 kids for the whole show.

Unforgettable experience! We stayed from the time it opened until it closed. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. The tour guide was knowledgeable and planned the perfect tour for us. Highly recommend the super ambassador package - but to wait to add the upgrade the same day of your visit as you get a discount. Super clean place with a special mission - to keep culture alive while supporting educational careers for young adults with a promising future.

I visited this place exactly 22 years ago & it made such a lasting impression on me I just had to share the experience with my husband & kids. We all had a fantastic day! I feel like this is a must when visiting the island. Note: DO NOT MISS THEIR SHOW!! We went to the Ha Breath of Life show & it's one of the most underrated amazing shows we've ever experienced! Phenomenal!
Plenty of places to eat right outside of the center.

Pros: Beautiful setting, staff is personable and caring. Performance is entertaining and fun. In comparison to the large entertainment facility like Disney or Universal this is top tier performances that are educational and informative. They made learning about the different Islands and cultures fun.

Cons: None...
If you go be prepared to enjoy a history lesson and explore the beauty of Polynesian Culture.

Absolutely beautiful. Had dinner at the luau in Hale Aloha and it was fascinating. There is a dance that tells a wonderful story and the food is certainly amazing. They show you how they make the traditional pork and the process of it. The center also offers a store and small museum area dedicated to the manufacture of ukuleles. The cultures are displayed beautifully in such a respectful and welcoming manner, the tour guides are from one of them and they have guided tours in lots of languages available.
