*Just* opened. Different than other locations. At this time, this location does not have the full menu. Order via touch screen at a walk-up window. Didn’t see any seating. Appears to be to go only. No employee was visible inside from the window when I arrived. A person did come after a couple minutes to ask if experience with touch screens was going well. The touch screen worked fine and was fast & easy to navigate. I did manage to accidentally hit the exit button & lost my order - my fault. Instead of re-entering my order, I left since one of the items I specifically came for wasn’t on this location’s menu at this time. Also, veg protein options were not present on the menu at this time.

I went back to try again before leaving the shopping center. Someone else had left their order open at the receipt step. I completed it for them to get back to the main screen (?not sure if this also was needed to send the order to the kitchen). Also, online ordering link is broken at this time. I suspect these are growing pains.

Food preparation was average to below average. Perhaps part of the growing pains? Chips were not drained properly. Rivers of oil soaked through the paper sack and soaked unimportant papers I had underneath the bag. The portion seemed small, but good enough. Quesadilla was completely soggy. ?needs different packaging ?was it cooked in a microwave? The guacamole was very fresh and good.
Will try again in a few months.

Worst tacos I've ever had in my life. Both of them were cold, there was only one thin shell on each instead of two... Like every other taco place ever. The tacos were tiny and chewy and barely held together. This was barely a snack let alone a meal. The young woman who made them obviously has no idea how to make something as simple as a taco. Waste of money.

Great food. Go there when I can however, they are never open in the evenings. Hours & the days open are never consistent with the hours they post. Not sure how the owners of this place expect to keep it running, if they do not at least meet the hours they post. Closing at 6:30 pm means just that. So if you want some delicious Poppo's food... you will have to go to another location because this one just doesn't seem to want the business. Not going to support a place that cannot keep it staffed when it should be open for business.

Nasty unprofessional and disrespectful people who work here portions are small and expensive they do not care about they're workers or customers highly recommend avoiding all locations all together

I have been to the location on manatee avenue numerous times and the food has always been awesome. I will have to admit I was super excited to find out they were opening an outpost right down the street from my house for online orders. Well my first experience makes me question if I want to continue to support their business. I place an order for 5 that cost around $60.00. One of the meals had double meat and when I got home it looked like a very small portion. I happen to have a food scale so I weighed the meals. On average there was less than 2 ounces of meat (1.86 and 1.91 to be exact) the double portion was only 2.82. Now I was pretty dissatisfied so I called the location on manatee ave which I love and they informed me a normal portion should be 4 ounces and a double 8. I had to drive back to the out post because they don’t have a number and the young girl at that location told me that they get busy and don’t have time to measure food. Unacceptable answer. I have no problem paying for whatever up charge extras cost but please don’t short change your customers. To top it off the chips I paid an extra $2 for were burned. This is a great location and could be an awesome go to if the staff here cared about quality like the other locations. I’ve also been to the university location many times and always looked forward to it.

Disappointing food and service. Ordered two burritos and two chips for takeout. Was handed a bag with two burritos one chip. Once we got home we found that the salsa verde that was ordered for both burritos was on neither and the guacamole we ordered on one burrito was also not included. They make such a point to charge extra for add-ons, then not receiving what we ordered was doubly frustrating. The dry, half-empty lunch was more than $25. Really sorry now that I tipped. Absolutely no chance I will be back.

First of all, the customer service here is awful. They couldn't care less about their customers. When you order your food (which is USUALLY to-go) considering there's no actual seating, they hand it to you without a bag, or any napkins.

Last week I ordered a baby bowl, and ended up pulling 3 obviously human hairs out of the bowl while eating.

And lastly, we always look up when a place is open before going there to eat, and there have been multiple times now that they aren't open when they're supposed to be. WORST Poppos around.

Just terrible, they were rude and didn’t acknowledge me standing there for 20 min. They open at 11, it’s 11:30 and they finally open the window to say they need 10 more minutes. Awful service and I expected a lot better. Even if you were closed you could at least say that instead of having me stand in the heat. They also had no ice in the machine no bags for the bowl and the girl went in the back and brought ice out, grabbed it with her gloved hands that she touched everything else with, very unsanitary. Don’t recommend going here, go to the other Poppos locations.
