Great family run tavern. It was clean, well laid out. Family friendly. Great tavern menu. I had chili and a chicken wrap. It was excellent. Met the owner. Great personality and service oriented. Check them out. I’ll be returning.

My first time here, in September 2024 the new ownership of this Tavern and Bar. I had some items from the specials and I was happy with the food!

Fast service, good beer selection. I had the shrimp scampi,and although it wasn't the typical scampi,the linguine.sauce and shrimp were delicious. My husband had the hand made onion rings,and ha said they were really good. He is very particular about onion rings, so this is high praise. Service was very good. The lights were a bit bright for night time, but that's about the only fault I could find (if you can even call it a fault).

We wanted a cozy date night, and Poppy's was the PERFECT place for it! The food was great, our server was awesome, and it was a cozy laid back type of atmosphere! We loved it and we will definitely be back!🤩😍

Poppy's Tavern is a HUGE assest to Hatfield. They go above and beyond with customer service and community involvement and outreach. I had a crazy delicious grilled chicken sandwich today for lunch (pictured). Be sure to try their Crick Foot Long Dog too!

Bartender was extremely rude. Did not remember to place food order and had to be reminded an hour later when there was no other food coming out of kitchen. After reminded bartender contributed to give attitude. Food did not come out good when it finally did an hour and a half later after it was ordered. Would not recommend or go back. Main reason is for the attitude of staff

Our service was great. The food was delicious, best reuben sandwich I've ever had. The owner was so nice. We'll be back to eat alot more now.
