What you see pictured is a #2&3. We’ve been on a minor food tour of the island. It’s common to find good food but rare to find reasonably priced and great food. The portions were definitely on the filling side and included a drink in the price. The Kalua pork meat was great. Staff was warm and accommodating with putting pineapple on the side. We will be back For sure.

Got the rice plate although I think the grilled cheese or other options would be better according to the other reviews. Includes a side and drink but they discount it if you just want the entree which is what I did. That was enough food for me already. Very quick service when I went. Overall I thought it would be a lot better given the high reviews

Got the #3 which was a essentially a grilled cheese with havarti, grilled onions, pineapple and of course, pulled pork. It was really really good! It also comes with a side and a drink. We picked the mac salad which was the best I had on the islands. Highly recommend!

Great grub. I was sad to see the Waimea location was no longer open, but glad they are still up and running on the island. I recommend the grilled cheese or sausage.

So this was one of the best things I’ve eaten in Kauai.

I’m GF so I had the number 4. Spouse had the #1 but over rice instead of a bun. Did the pickled onions and cucumbers for the sides. Did the spicy sauce. So good! Very flavorful. Would love to eat here again!

After your meal there’s a cute little old town area to walk around. Koloa is just a nice quiet area. Oddly there were NO chickens anywhere near the restaurant.

Came here on a Friday evening and ordered the Number One with Mac salad and a juice. It was delicious! Was even lucky enough to be serenaded in their outdoor covered seating area.

One of our favorite meals during our trip to Kauai, quant atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Kauai has lots of great food trucks/“holes in the wall” with no where to sit. So, on site seating, with nice tables/high tops is a big plus here.

We stopped at Porky’s during our trip, and it ended up being one of the best meals we had on the island. I ordered the No 4 with jasmine coconut rice with kalua pork with spicy sauce, and my husband got the No 1. The kids had hot dogs—which they devoured!

Most of our meals in Kuaui were from food trucks or quick stops (with the exception of two fairly fast restaurant meals), and Porky’s easily had the best flavor of all. The taste was rich, savory, and seriously impressive for a casual spot.

What surprised me most? There wasn’t a line out the door—because there should be. If you’re on the island, make time to stop here for lunch or dinner. Absolutely incredible. Highly, highly recommend!
