We went skiing at Smugglers Notch recently. I haven't been to Vermont in many years. This time we picked up some Vermont maple syrup and other local goodies at a Vermont roadside store before leaving. I got a gallon of Vermont maple syrup. While riding passenger 8 hours home, I educated myself on maple syrup via sart phone internet. Amazing stuff and process. I had some questions about it which I sent via website message to Potters. The owner quickly responded with great advise and education. I have tried the syrup as she suggested. I have not had it on pancakes yet but there are so many other uses for it as a sugar replacement. I have to tell you, it is incredible. I mean, I used to use the well known syrup brands but will never again. This Potters Family Maple Syrup is 100% all natural hand made maple syrup. It's the only sweetener I will use ever again. Do not pollute your family with anything else. Read the ingredients on your syrup bottle. Now, go to Potters website read what's in their maple syrup. They will Ship you some fresh maple syrup with free shipping and you have choices of darkness (which is a fun learning experience.) It's actually not expensive. It does cost more but quality and hand made should cost more. I appreciate what Potters does in providing a healthy alternative to my sweet tooth. Not to mention as an accomplished cook, I will be improving many of my recipes. Put it on ice cream! Yummy!
