This was by far the best tour I have ever been on! The farmer, Steve, tells you all about his farm and may let you taste something too! There is chocolate tasting at the end of the tour. Don't miss this once in a lifetime education tour of a tropical farm. Wear good walking shoes and bring bug spray! All his proceeds from the tour go to pay his high school employees, so don't hesitate to tip!

Stephen did a phenomenal job with our tour. He is extremely knowledgeable in regenerative farming, sustainable farming, and plants in general! We were able to sample several plants produced on the farm and got an extensive tour of the chocolate making process. The tour is well worth the price and the chocolate is really good!

We will be going to visit Pele's Kitchen soon!

My husband and I booked an afternoon tour (at 1pm). We were greeted warmly by the owner Stephen at the entrance. The farm tour lasted for more than 2 hours with very nice chocolate tasting at the end. One of the highlights of our visit was the incredible variety of fruits and vegetables grown on the farm. I have learned so much about the cacao, avocado, yuzu, okra and other vegetables.

The tour was not like other tours on other farms, Stephen is very knowledgeable passionate about sustainable farming, and it felt more like we were being hosted by the owner rather than a tour. We got way more out of the tour than what we expected, we would highly recommend checking out Puna Gold Estate.

This farm tour was amazing! The owner, Stephen was so personable and knowledgeable, I could listen and learn from him all day! We learned a lot about regenerative farming, composting, companion planting, history lessons on the island and the fruits grown there and brought in, and of course we learned about how chocolate is made. We got to try some fruit along the way, I tried the edible flowers he suggested and at the end we got complimentary chocolate and refreshments! Just amazing! We bought chocolate to take with us as well as the pickled peppers which were spicy and good! I highly recommend this activity!!

Wonderful little farm with so much to offer! We're here in late April so it is currently cacao season, and it shows in this farm! We saw such a wide variety of fruits, veggies, flowers, and trees. The owner of the farm was very friendly and informative, and seemed passionate about what he does. The tour of the farm was a great experience, and it was topped off with a tour of his little chocolate factory and a sample of his chocolate, SO delicious!

Incredible tour. Take it. You’ll be happy, smarter, and wanting to visit their breakfast restaurant. Stephen is like the Willy Wonka of eco friendly farming in the very best way. He does everything, grows everything, makes everything and gives you samples of all of it. Pineapples, papaya, sugar cane, avocados, passion fruit, macadamia nuts, coffee, cacao, and at least 100 others. You even get samples of the chocolate they make on site at the end. We spent all the money we had on us buying more at the end we liked it so much.

Stephen was phenomenal. He was extremely knowledgeable and spent almost two hours with us going through all of the crops on his farm. His chocolate is unbelievable. He tells great stories, explains some history, and keeps you engaged while learning about his sustainable farming system. His explanation of the chocolate making process was fascinating.

An added benefit, his tour funds go to support local high schoolers learning to work on a farm, benefiting the local economy. His farm to kitchen restaurant (Pele's Kitchen) is worth the visit for a breakfast prior to the tour. Overall great experience and great value. Highly recommended!
