Legendary NJ filming location for many of Kevin Smith’s movies, and specifically Clerks was shot here. Inside is just a normal local convenience store but cool to see the filming locations for so many movies I’ve seen over the years. Was in a much nicer area than I would have thought which was a plus haha

If you’re a Kevin Smith fan this is a must see!

Had to visit the Quick Stop while I was in Jersey (because of the movies) and it did not disappoint! Small little convenient store with the usual goodies. The sales guy was nice to let me take photos of the inside of the place. If you are a fan of the movies it's a most stop on your way to The Secret Stash!

As a fan of Clerks and the Jay and Silent Bob universe, as a filmmaker, I have always wanted to make the pilgrimage to the Quick Stop. It was kind surreal really, being at a place that inspired me to do what I do. It was everything I could have hoped for, though it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. Looking around, seeing Clerks in my head, that's where Randell and Dante fought, that's where the milk maid was, that's where they dance, it was great to see. Glad I did it.

All movie quotes aside, this was a fantastic experience. We are huge Clerks fans and flew all the way here from Wisconsin for our honeymoon (Well, NYC but we had to make the drive out here!) And it was a surreal experience. It looks just like it did in the movies. They have your typical selection of drinks and snacks with a small amount of movie related merchandise for purchase. The actual clerk working is very much accustomed to Kevin Smith fans showing up "morning, noon and night" and is very cool with it. Highly recommend if you're a fan of the View Askew world, and be sure to check out Kevin Smiths movie theater just down the road as well.

It is, of course, a functioning independently owned convenience store at the end of the day so make sure you buy a snack or drink on your way out 🙂

The place smelled like shoe polish, there was no ice for my coffee, and they were out of Gatorade. All jokes aside, I did go here in April 2022 because of "Clerks". It was a cool experience and I did buy a few things. The clerk working that day went along with the jokes and was super nice.... And yes, it looks exactly like it does from the movie.

Very cool place to see! Seemed like a good store as well - all the milk was sorted nicely, no complaints.

This is the Quick Stop Groceries seen in the movie "Clerks" from 1994 in Leonardo, NJ. It was also used for several scenes in 2006's "Clerks II".

The store owner has reportedly been asked thousands of times about it being the filming location from people all over the world.

Kevin Smith, the Writer and Director, grew up in nearby Highlands. You can ask for a pack of Nails cigarettes for $15.
