They make ‘em sandwiches thicc!

Long time fan, first time visitor. The R3PO hoagie combination was superb. Always love a shop that dares to put blue cheese in a sandwich. Goes great with roast beef and roast peppers.

I don’t eat meat often but when I do, it’s got to be prepared well. RC Kona absolutely met my expectations.

Stopped by RC Kona for some lunch. Had the R2PO which was delicious. We also picked up some burgers (the curry burger in particular was very tasty) and some steaks, which were very good quality.

I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Just discovered this place and it is fantastic! The sandwiches were amazing. The meat selection was so good. I had them slice thinly beef and pork. It was perfect for sukiyaki and hot pot. Love this place and highly recommend to try the sandwiches!

Awesome little sandwich and butcher’s shop. Very friendly owners who were super great and accommodating! My daughter had a fantastic sandwich here for a vegetarian and my wife grabbed an Italian to go sandwich! Great way to support a small business. We will definitely be back!

Found this place when I visited the Big Island a couple of years ago and now it’s a must stop whenever we visit.

The sandwiches are truly where it’s at. The Heartstopper, Basic B, or Italian Paradise have been our go to this trip.

As for the butcher side, they really try to have locally sourced product with the best quality. We picked up some chorizo and had it for breakfast.

Fantastic gem in the heart of Kona!!! My bestie and I went for a nice lunch date and we came home with lunch AND dessert for now, and breakfast and dinner for later (frozen but ready to eat at home)!!
The sandwich I got was a good ol faithful turkey bacon sandwich but the flavor and freshness bursting from it will be hard to ever beat. Dessert was a cherry amaretto cheesecake, so good we almost forgot to take a picture before scarfing it down.
We both took home rabbit stew for dinner and chorizo for breakfast and can't wait to try! The service was fantastic, humourous, welcoming, and really just unbeatable. I love that they are LGBTQ+ friendly and overall just great people.
I can confidently say I will be back for more!

Best cold sandwich I’ve had on the across the islands. I had lots of friends tell me to try this place over the years and I finally had the pleasure of getting to do so today. Hands down, best Italian sub I’ve had in the states. Probably going back tomorrow. They gave us samples and answered my questions happily. Just go.

So good. The sandwiches are massive and delicious. Their meat is really great quality. We can't wait to come back and get some of their marinated meats. They are kinda tucked away off Ali'i, parking can be a pain but totally worth it.
