My experience with Refined Landscape and Design was very positive, from the beginning Santiago explained everything and gave us the price without any changes or surprises. They did our asphalt driveway with a concrete sidewalk and apron. Around our garage they did a two feet concrete walkway with a slope for rain. They got all of the permits and worked with the city to have things approved. They had to deal with very challenging weather but tried to stay within the schedule as best as possible.

Refined Landscape is an excellent company capable of many general contracting types of work. This was our second project with them and the work turned out great. They go above and beyond for the project and make sure everything is done correctly, including the finishing touch of cleaning up after the job is completed. Highly recommend this company!!

Santiago and the Refined Landscape and Design team were excellent! They reconfigured and redid my side yard drainage, putting in a new stone trench, French drain, and reworked downspout drainage. They also reworked the basement window wells, resealed the windows, and repaired/replaced/repainted the extracted drywall, insulation, and baseboard molding due to mold. Everything was timely, fairly priced, and communication with Santiago was excellent. Without qualification, would use Refined Landscape again for whatever project comes next!

Santiago truly deserves a glowing review for the exceptional landscaping work he performed. When the city mandated the relocation of my magnolia trees due to traffic visibility concerns, I was anxious about their survival. However, Santiago expertly executed the move in the fall, and to my delight, I can already witness tiny buds on the branches, even during the winter months.

Beyond addressing the immediate concern, Santiago’s team has also transformed my front lawn. With a bare plant bed in need of attention, he collaborated with me to design a garden featuring white hydrangeas, boxwoods, catmint, and alliums. The pictures enclosed don’t do it justice - this was right before they were planted in the fall, so the colorful flowers aren’t yet visible. I can’t wait for the upcoming spring season when everything should burst into full bloom.
