One visitor mentioned that even in winter, Rosemoor is still interesting with lots of sculpture. They have lettuces growing outside but under a loose cover and the temperature difference between outside and underneath is noticeable. The café was snug, and they only had a cream tea. On the menu, there were lots to choose from and not overpriced. They also mentioned that it was quiet but lovely and that it must look really spectacular in the dark.

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful gardens I've ever been to. The place is simply stunning and well worth a visit. So well maintained, gorgeous landscape including formal and informal gardens, woodland, lakes and streams.

Many beautiful and unusual flowers. Also lots of sculptures dotted around.

I live close to RHS Wisley and in my view Rosemoor is way nicer. Well worth a visit.

Just had the most wonderful evening strolling through GLOW, the illuminated gardens. Gentle ambient music helps with the magical atmosphere, following a designated signposted route, directed by guides. The lights shining into the trees changes the feel of the gardens, and the statues, figures and displays in the meadows make for some great photos. The calm waters of the lake made for some very nice reflections. Well done everyone involved, all you're hard work was worth it.

STUNNING! First time visiting. We were there for the Flower and plant show. The gardens were beautiful, and laid out in different themes (my plant finder definitely had some use on identifying the more unusual plants) Lovely to see the majority of the exhibitors were from the South West and the plants were sold at a reasonable price. Definitely will be back again. Top tips Take a picnic with you, so many beautiful places to have one.

I did visit in autumn and so the gardens might not have been at their best but I was a little underwhelmed. I had not visited an RHS garden before so I am not able to make comparisons except I do know Bodnant quite well in Wales and that is always spectacular. The cafe closes quite early so if you want a snack, do that earlier rather than later.

We had the most beautiful walk through the gardens visiting the water lily pond and seeing dragon flies of turquoise blue colour. We walked through the wonderful apple orchard of many varieties. We started the upper woodland walk but dropped down walking towards the different flower and herb gardens. Visited the greenhouse housing different tomato varieties and cucumbers. There were plenty of places to sit and just observe this beautiful garden. We also saw Shaun the sheep and they were beautifully decorated. The cafe was great with an assortment of cakes and drinks. I left feeling very inspired for my garden next year. Thank you Rosemoor for a lovely day 🙂

Fabulous, We went for Rosemoor Glow. Whilst these are very windy lanes from Braunton to get here it was worth the drive. Everyone was turning up at the same time so the car park was very busy, but it was manned and we were crammed in to be honest. I had to pull my car forward and back to get my boot open to get our coats out after being shimmied to go back in by the car park attendants!

Once parked it was a short well lit walk to the entrance & our entry was quick and efficient with our pre booked tickets. We all enjoyed all Rosemoor lit up by night & it looked very pretty & the walk length was just the right amount I think to be enjoyable. Disco balls hanging from trees, trees lit up beautifully and the water/lake looked like a magical place to be & lots more to see. Amazing how nature can look so different at night lit up. Casts a whole new perspective. Lots of lovely & cleverly made sculptures to see along the route also.

Great Rosemoor had thought about that people love a photo or two & there were lots of photo opportunities around which were great. The giant star was a favourite of ours ⭐!!

The only thing that was tricky is if you needed the toilet and you were down the bottom of the gardens (with children it was a race back to the beginning to get to the toilets)

We had a great time & it felt very festive and we would definitely go again to get us all in the Christmas mood again! 🌲.

A wonderful day at spectacular gardens. If you need inspiration for your garden, you will find it here. Not as big as Wisley, more a series of rooms/areas. Everything from roses, to rock gardens and for me the highlight was the Stumpery. Even though it was the end of the summer, there was still so much colour and the gardens were well tended. The vegetable garden was amazing, the arch covered in what I thought were melons turned out to be Fig leaf gourds, one for the future! Plenty of places to eat or sit and admire the vista. We will go again.
