If I can give this place zero stars I would. Me and my mom go there to sign up. I called before I got there to ask if they would serve outside of Mercer County. I was told yes. We get there, no one makes eye contact. The young lady who take care of us hands me paperwork to fill out. As I'm filing out the paperwork, she asked where I live. I said Perth Amboy. She seemed all too happy to let me know it was too far. Then she said to my mom that she can still come but not every week anymore, just once a month!!!!!!! That's so sad! All of these other organizations are not like that. They seem to cater to Spanish people. They were not nice at all. How can you be like that when people donate to you? How would you feel if the donors feel that way about you? That would be devastating, because then you can't help the people. You have many stars that you do t deserve. I was so embarrassed when she said sorry it may be too far. It wasn't like she said we definitely can't help you, it was more like a maybe or maybe not. There's both in writing at all. I would not donate to them. She seemed happy with not allowing me to finish my paperwork. She then gives me a list of other pantry's that serve anyone. So it's ok, there are many other food pantry's that don't discriminate!!!!!

Everyone here at the Rise Pantry are cheerful and friendly. I volunteer to assist with picking up, helping sort and distribute the donations the pantry receives. Rise Pantry helps with distributing food to those in need. The have food pick ups Monday to Wednesday from 8:30am to 12:30pm and in the evening on 2nd & 4th Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
