This is a real down home place. They have fruit, plants, fresh eggs and coffee and Rufus is a painter of fine art and I guess a poet. They rent out some cabins in the back. We had the honor and pleasure of meeting Rufus this past week. His hospitality is off the charts and his market is simply magic. Beautiful plants, wonderful conversation, a great cup(s) of coffee and my first coconut water drank from a coconut that Rufus opened for me with his trusty machete. If you want to truly experience Hawaii, stop by Rufus'....listen and learn.

This store is awesome place to stop when visiting the Big Island. The best experience of a taste of Hawaii in many different items. The fresh coconuts and pineapples, to the beautiful flowers and paintings, but that's not all so you owe it to yourself to go and find out what's else this shop has to offer. Did I mention Rufus will be there to meet and greet you with his great Southern hospitality. Yes, I said Southern hospitality, he knows how to make you feel welcome. So go by and check it out I promise you will not regret it.

I met Rufus while stopping by his roadside market. I could sit and talk to him for hours. He is a genuinely nice gentleman. I love hearing his stories. He also has fresh coconut, fresh fish, yummy fruits, and the best banana smoothies I've ever tasted. If you visit the Big Island, you have to stop by his market to shop and meet him! This is a place you definitely want to visit 🙂

This place is everything! The customer service was awesome! We had a tour of the grounds the plants and flowers were so beautiful! They grow every type of plant you can imagine! We bought their coffee beans and yes they even roast them! This will be our first stop for plants and trees. Looking forward to seeing it expand into its future state.

Such a magical place. Have bought fruit, plants eggs all of great quality. Rufus is a legend and his poetry and wisdom are legendary.
