I’m a retired Certified Arborist, and was a licensed chemical Applicator and Operator in Illinois. I talked to their tech when he was doing our neighbor’s yard and was extremely impressed with his answers to my questions. Army worms showed up on 8/7. I tried to contact my current lawn care service, got put on hold. Bye bye! YOU’RE FIRED!!! I contacted Running Roots. Within a HALF HOUR a service tech showed up and treated my lawn!!!!!

Phenomenal at controlling weeds and getting rid of mosquitos. The customer service is some of the best you can find. On top of that, if you ever have any questions, you can call and talk to the owner Garrick. Just first class all the way around.

They are hands down the most unprofessional lawn service providers I have ever seen. Despite us renting this house for 3 years, and having cars in the driveway, they KNEW we have dogs and yet failed to alert us that they were putting toxic fertilizer on the yard and so nowbwe are at home watching our pets for signs of poisoning. Their phone lines state that they are closed despite being open today so there is no way to get in contact with them. Horrible, if you value your pets and small children then DO NOT use them. Run away, FAR AWAY.
