1st time filming at Rustic Oaks and it was GREAT!!! Mike and his son Blake were EXTREMELY helpful and helped us out in any way they could. We were able to start rolling immediately which helped keep us on schedule. Rustic Oaks is a great filming location as it gives filmmakers a level of control you wouldn't have filming on state land. Mike and Blake helped us create a fake pond showing how much care and dedication they have for small filmmakers like us. Would recommend filming here again!

This was my first time filming here and Mike is a great person very understandable of every situation and will be happy to work with you if you have any concerns. I had the pleasure of shooting a narrative project here at Rustic Oaks. Mike was an incredible production partner. We needed to shoot overnight and had tricky scenes and it was comforting to shoot in a space like Rustic Oaks. It is a rare aesthetic for Southern California and has a variety of looks - all while being able to be close to production comforts for cast and crew. Mike is terrific and I really enjoyed Rustic Oaks Ranch!

I cannot say enough good things about our shoot at Rustic Oaks Ranch!! Mike and his son Blake are the sweetest people ever and were extraordinarily helpful and available throughout the entire shoot, without ever getting in the way. You can tell that they have a love for film and tv production and are knowledgeable and able to take care of the location concerns like genies and lights. They even offered to dig a hole for us that we needed to have for a set piece! They also encourage night time filming which we found to be rare! They worked within our budget and never put business before helping us out if they could. I genuinely enjoyed their company and felt very taken care of. I one hundred percent would recommend this location for your film or tv shoot or anything you’d need it for, really. And I will for sure be back. I only wish all locations were this amazing. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We had a blast.

Working with Mike was a DREAM. As an independent producer, it meant the world to not only have a location that was perfect fo camera but the location support as well. On a current shoot on the grounds of Rustic Oaks Ranch I was overwhelmed by their gracious welcome and the range of various locations within their property. The owner gave us a very detailed rundown of the property and safety guidelines to follow but we had pretty free range (no pun intended) or the grounds. I'm sure if anyone needs to use the ranch for shooting a variety of films, music videos, or series it woudl work out for you. Everything neceesary for being on the property for a days shoot is there; bathrooms, shelter, and parking. Shoot your next film here.

Rustic Oaks Ranch is the kind of hidden gem you're tempted to keep secret for fear of it getting too popular. We scouted all over the valley for a stand of woods that felt both realistic and magical -- a task that proved quite challenging. And then we landed at Mike's place. Mike, by the way, is a treasure -- equal parts resourceful and genuine. Our experience exceeded all expectation, and I can't wait to film here again. Selfishly, I just hope the word hasn't yet hit the studio circuit.
