Talked to the head baker. I wanted one of the cakes online, but change the colors. She was so very helpful and sweet! Very much a pleasure! I don’t normally go to this store, but I do like their bakery.

Very disappointing that this Pharmacy is too busy to let patients know when a medication is back ordered and can’t be filled. The only way a patient will be made aware is when they call for the status. In my circumstance, this occurred after hours making it impossible to switch to another pharmacy. To add insult to injury the pharmacist was shockingly rude while she told me that she is too busy to let patients know when a medication isn’t available. Zero empathy with absolutely no regard or concern for a patient needing their medication.

They make custom sandwiches! I never noticed before that they make sandwiches in the deli area. Reasonable prices and very good too. Overall, this Safeway is my go-to grocery store when I have a long shopping list. I know that most everything I need is here and the self check out stations are easy to use and quick. I enjoy the large ready made foods area and also the helpful employees in the meat section.

This store is close to home so I pop in once or twice a week to pick up a handful of items. I have noticed repeated overcharging at the register. Items that are listed at one price at the display cost more at check-out. This is especially true of items listed as on-sale. Safeway does not give you the discount.

Yesterday I purchased six Powerades listed as 2 for $3. At the register they ring up as 1.99 and then a .33 discount was applied. It should be .49. I asked the girl working the self-check out to help me but she was powerless. When she offered to contact the manager I declined. How long do I want to wait for $1.02 in total discounts?

It's a small amount and that's the scam. They count on you walking away because it's a hassle to correct their scamming system. I walked away, paying the extra dollar, but I'm never shopping here again. I've noted too many instances of over-charging to trust this store.

This Safeway is worthless and they should just shut it down because you always have to drive to the one on Chandler anyway or go to the other and less expensive store right next to it on chandler. These shelves are always empty. So just because the Chandler Safeway is in competition with the Fry's they get everything in the rest of us suffer. But let's be real if you're going to go up there you're going to end up at the other store anyway because it's cheaper

Is there any way you can pay your employees more? Every single time I go in there it's like nobody who works here cares. It's not like you guys are as cheap as Frys or Wal Mart, is there not enough money to pay people for higher standards? Is there a minimum level of grooming standards and professionalism that you guys can't afford? The only reason why anybody would come here is for convenience to begin with. Your smartphone coupons, long slow lines and rancorous employees make the experience dreadful almost always.

Was just curious on the Deli protocol is it normal for only one slicer to be open on Friday that says meat slicer 1 for them to be slicing cheese and then not sanitizing the meat slicer and then slicing meat and then go immediately back to slicing cheese. This seems highly irresponsible. Y'all need to work on the Deli in my humble opinion. Will not be going to the deli again. Cross contamination.

I live in the area and every time I go to this Safeway they never have advertised items in stock. Whereas I go to the other Safeway they have everything I need and the staff is much friendlier. Such an inconvenience
