This location of a botanical garden is so beautiful is should be legendary among travelers. The covered setting among the historical carved buildings is breathtaking. The inner belly is tight but that allows you to feel enclosed with the flora of the garden and the fauna of the other spectators. I especially loved the interactive smells section of the garden. It was a carrousel of people on either side of you contrasting opinions on what the previous plant smelled like. If the rest of my family actually liked plants, I would be coming here every year.

From the organizations website; THE GENEROSITY OF THE CITIZENS OF SAN DIEGO AND CO-OPERATION WITH THE CITY PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE FACILITIES WHERE HORTICULTURAL GROUPS CAN MEET AND HAVE SHOWS TO DISPLAY THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS. IN CONJUNCTION WITH THESE GROUPS WE HAVE ESTABLISHED A HORTICULTURAL LIBRARY. ALL OF THESE ACCOMMODATIONS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
