Savor The Flavor is a cute lil gourmet foods and specialty gift shop located in Sierra Madre, CA. It has a plethora of items such as cookies, mugs, greeting cards, holiday ornaments, wedding gifts, books, glasses etc. This store has natural light emanating from its large front windows. Its atmosphere was relaxing especially that holiday music playing in the background. The grandma like staff was very accommodating and affable.

Prices were fair. Plenty of street parking. Overall, I enjoyed visiting this store. I recommend you visit.

As always Maddie has the store in perfect holiday order! Such beautiful and timeless pieces; there is something for everyone on your shopping list. The fabulous food products; cookies, sweets, sauces, will make any party perfect. The plush gifts for kiddos, tops for teens and adults, jewelry galore! My favorite is the Christmas holiday decor it is spectacular!!!! Every time I venture in, I don’t leave alone…. Today an adorable Santa , three dish towels and a bottle of balsamic vinegar came home with me! I’ll be back soon, I have stockings to fill!!!m

Among the many treasures, the cheese plate gift we found for a friend was a standout choice, displaying the store's commitment to offering thoughtful and distinctive presents. However, what truly captured our attention was the diverse collection of books lining the shelves. From specialized titles like the "gut health recipe book" to engaging children's literature, the store catered to a wide range of interests and preferences.

One book that left a lasting impression was Julie Small's "The Battle of Big Worries." This remarkable book ingeniously tackles the topic of managing anxiety through the endearing characters of Polly, a child facing worries, and her trusty companion, a penguin. Small masterfully weaves a tale that not only engages young readers but also provides valuable insights and coping mechanisms for handling anxiety.

The heartfelt illustrations beautifully depict Polly's journey, capturing the emotions and challenges she faces alongside her supportive penguin friend. This unique approach helps children relate to and better understand the complexities of managing their worries, making it an invaluable resource for parents seeking to support their child's emotional growth.

I recently visited Savor the Flavor in Sierra Madre with two bottles of wine, seeking ideas for two gift baskets. Madeline was incredibly creative and went above and beyond my expectations. Initially, I was looking for a simple basket, but Madeline suggested using hardcover cookbooks as the base for the arrangements. Her "wine and chocolate" idea was outstanding! She paired white chocolates with the Chardonnay and dark chocolates with the Merlot, adding crackers, olives, and an amazing spread to complete the gift. The presentation was elegant and thoughtful. If you're looking for unique and creative gift ideas, this is the place to shop! Highly recommended!

Such a delightful little specialty store in downtown Sierra Madre madre. Liz is always a treat to see. The store is stocked With lovely soaps, candles, and some of the best
specialty foods. The owner really takes pride in finding unique items. Great for any kind of gift from weddings, holidays to birthdays.

I'd like to write an 'accessory' review of the special pop-up shop (my description) that P. had/sometimes has outside Savor the Flavor. She's a wonderful artist and has made some very special bracelets that some of us are lucky to have purchased and wear. I'd like to complement P. on her creativity, say 'thank you', and a wow to her for her math skills. My daughter sold jelly at a little pop-up stand and it brought back cherished memories.

As well, inside the shop is full of excellent treats that I've enjoyed buying over the years too. Shop local people!

The place has variety of products from cookies to home decor that are great for gifts or self. The lady who was manning the store was nice, kind and a joy to chit chat with.
