It has been a while, but never disappoints. I was happy to point out my favorites to a new customer from SC. Ribs, of course, but the potato is a meal for 3-4! He didn’t believe me. The green beans and mac-n-cheese are always something to write home about.

Pretty sure his family ordered almost one of everything in total. He followed me out the door to tell me how good it was. I hope he told yall, too.

I had heard reviews of this place all over the internet on websites such as Reddit and decided to give it a shot on my way back home from New Orleans. The pork ribs were as tender as can be and the Mac n cheese was to die for! To tie it all together I put the rib meat on the bread with Mac n cheese and some of their white BBQ sauce and it was absolutely scrumptious. I highly recommend Saw’s BBQ, and I would like to mention a man who worked here by the name of Daniel who was very hospitable and generous to my family and I during our time here.

We have only eaten here once. But I will tell you this place is the only place I crave. The other location in Leeds is nothing compared to this place. We ordered three of the 3 meat combo meals. We then drove home to Lincoln. 1 hour ride. It was still warm when we got home. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It was NOT dry at all. The pulled pork was incredible. But the BRISKET was like butter. It was the show of all meats. We own our own shop so it’s hard for us to get out of town for dinner. If I did have time - it would be worth the drive. It will not disappoint. The only other place comparable is the Pig & Pint in Jackson, Mississippi.

Mmm...I got the sampler plate so that I could taste everything.
The chicken was good to eat but too much of the white sauce made it soggy ish. The pulled pork was absolutely swimming in sauce, and frankly, not much smokey flavor. The ribs were pretty good but dunked in sauce. The atmosphere was perfect, the lady working the front was super friendly.
Sorry... but not what I expected from a local favorite.

The sausage was very good. The potato salad tasted good, but it was a bit dry. The chicken was good, but the bbq sauce was watery. Overall, it is average food. However, the guy who checked us out and brought us our food was very friendly.

The food was very inviting. I ordered a barbecue plate. The pork was served on the tray on a piece of paper with two slice of dried out white bread. The waitress never smiled. She threw the tray on the table. She never offered to refill my drink. She most concerned with getting my money and getting me out of there despite the fact I was only there eating for 15 minutes. I will NEVER go to this place again.

We're visiting the area and was told by some locals that we had to try Saw's if we were looking for BBQ. Of course it was one of the best BBQ spots I've been too. Nice local joint, pork was so tender and flavorful and the chicken was packed with flavor also. We got the Pork Tater and Chicken Tater with a medium side of Mac & cheese. I'm a huge fan of BBQ stuffed potatoes so I was happy that they had a few options on the menu. The Mac & cheese wasn't my favorite, but it was ok. I'm glad we got to stop by and try it out!

The BBQ was genuinely some of the best I’ve had in the U.S.—great flavor and quality. However, I was disappointed with the overall service experience. For a place that isn’t full-service, the prices felt a bit high. You order at a counter and are expected to bus your own table, yet the kiosk still prompts for a gratuity, which felt out of place. Great food, but the service model and pricing left something to be desired.
