It was a beautiful spring Saturday when we visited. The grounds were gorgeous, with lots of blooming flowers and trees. We had a really nice, relaxing walk and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

Very pleasant surprise with beautiful and colorful spring flowers harmonized with classic architecture in the campus of Swarthmore College.
I felt calm and joy while taking a walk and taking photos of all kinds of beautiful natures.
One more special experience was to smell beautiful natural fragrances from flowers.

An outstanding and well-kept Arboretum, beautiful grounds. This time of year you can see the end of flowering winter shrubs. And bulbs. The trees will flower in mass in the next 5-7 days. Make sure to walk around campus to see the trees, explore. It's worth the walk. It's free and rules are easy going. That means be humble n respectful. Carry in, carry out. Carry out extra is even better. Good luck finding litter to pick up.
As a working arborist I would rate this best in region. And I look forward to seeing it in more seasons.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Scott Arboretum twice, both while the Magnolias and Cherry Blossoms were blooming, and it was amazing!! I highly recommend it.

Been to the Olive Garden six times a different times different days trying to get a margarita and all I get is a water glass instead of a margarita cup a margarita should come in a margarita cup not in a water glass and I think after three months going every other day There should be a margarita cup will not go back to the Olive Garden. I give it in one store in Baltimore Pike would go to the one in Delaware that you always have margarita cups, and gray margaritas.

This arboretum is free, welcomes leashed dogs and has some free parking spots on the weekend. Allow at least 2 hours if you want to see the 20+ gardens on the grounds. I recommend downloading and printing out their arboretum guide. The map is not very accurate on locations, but the meanders are scenic. Highlights are the rose garden, the Redwoods walk, the pollinator and summer bloom gardens. There is entry to Crum Woods near the ampitheater. There are no restrooms or water stations. Lots of shady benches around the park.

We visited the “garden of ideas” today and the gardens mission is to sustain the body, enchant the eye, and soothe the spirit. The space is incredibly peaceful and admission is free🌸🌺

A lovely way to spend an afternoon. Large and small gardens with good signage. The amphitheater is magnificent. Insider tip: The gardens are spread out all over the Swarthmore campus. Wear your walking shoes!
