If you’re looking for a preschool, I couldn’t think of a more incredible experience for your little one. The focus on developing our child’s social and other fundamental skills paired with play and creative ways to get your child engaged in and loving school is unmatched. Every day, my son looked forward to playgroup with joy and excitement. All of the well thought out field trips and outings are another huge plus. I also can’t say enough about the way Miss Candace brings families together to form a wonderful community. Of course you’ll have to put in a little extra effort helping out working in the classroom and with various tasks from time to time but the magical experience your kid gets out of it will pay dividends for the rest of their life. I highly recommend Seal Beach Playgroup!

None of my children have actually attended this playgroup but I want to share a story. I was here with my kids one day while the playgroup kids were outside enjoying the play equipment as well. I watched a three year old boy being *very* difficult, he was very upset and having a meltdown nearby. Soon I was watching one of the staff who works with this playgroup preschool handle this little boy with the most loving, gentle, knowledgeable, and kind care I've ever seen. This happened about a year ago but I was just thinking about that moment again and decided to come here to write this.

What a wonderful place to start a child's school career (currently have my 4th attending in fall 2024). This school is the best little preschool with a teacher who loves the children like her own. Not only does Ms. C care for each child but also helps each parent grow in their parenthood journey. The friendships that are made at this preschool run deep for both children and parents. Being a play-based preschool, children develop social, emotional and academic skills needed for entering elementary school. SBPG holds a special place in my heart and we are so grateful we stumbled upon this preschool.
