Absolutely horrible. Do not order a basket. Every single delivery has been at least half molded fruits and vegetables. The dried fruit looked like a mouse chewed on the bag and fire ants were all over in it. Jellies spilt everywhere. I asked for a refund and to cancel the membership, and she won't respond now! I can't believe i didn't see the other reviews before purchasing. I'm going to file a chargeback.

I purchased a one time basket special for $59 in order to try this service. I never received anything. I emailed 3 months ago and the owner, D'Lee, said she had no knowledge of my purchase but would have my basket that weekend. It has now been 8 months since my card was charged and no one is responding to my emails asking for a refund. Is this a scam? Buyer beware.

I have held off on posting such a negative review but this business should be avoided. I was thrilled to be part of a Farmshare, and I knew that meant benefitting and suffering alongside local farmers. I knew this meant some weeks might have a very small volume. We participated in this Farmshare for a few months, despite not being happy with the product, in order to support local farmers. As many other reviews mention, the produce was frequently bad or obviously store-bought. Our first week’s eggs were literally rotten; I had never cracked a rotten egg before and I couldn’t eat them for weeks after this. The store-bought cheeses were actually bad twice (maybe from sitting unrefrigerated all day?). The baked goods did not have good flavor or texture; many of the them quite literally looked like hotdog buns covered in cinnamon sugar. Weeks with low volume of produce typically came with small cups of seasonings and homemade relishes, one of which had a larvae of some sort in it, so they always went straight into the trash after that.

Overall, the quality of the Farmshare was very poor so we cancelled in December. 3 months later, we were charged $155 and it took many texts and messages and emails, and a months time, to get it refunded. I was then charged again this month and I am so disappointed in D’Lee’s lack of proper financial organization. The repeated excuses where the onus is put on personal matters does not excuse poor business practices. Please refund me and stop charging customers who cancelled last year!!

Beyond awful. Signed up for a month special - produce was store bought, not from their “organic farm”, I was charged another $200 after the one month special was over, owner wouldn’t refund or answer texts, had to file a fraud dispute with bank. Also submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Buyer beware!! ?

Please take caution before signing up for baskets. I wish I could say that mine is a stand alone incident, but this has happened to multiple customers. Ensure you get receipts so you can double check what you are being charged. I received no receipts so I didn’t know I was overcharged until a few months after the fact. I understand that mistakes are made, but it took 45 days of continual emails, texts and Facebook messages before I finally got a refund, and even then it was less than I should have received. I only received text message responses after I posted publicly on her Facebook page. There were several personal reasons given why it took so long to receive a refund, but if Seasons In The Sun can take my money, amidst personal issues, and she can continue posting on Facebook, she can issue me my refund in a timely manner. Please be cautious.

Be aware: I haven’t used this service since last season. I cancelled because there were always issues and missing items from my order. I wake up to a $160 charge on my card almost a year later. When reported to the company I didn’t even receive an apology. Apparently I wasn’t deleted from the system after canceling. I wonder how many they “forget” to delete…

Edit to add- they blocked me on all social media. Still no refund or communication.

Editing to add: She blocks anyone who tries to tell people the truth about their experience on the Seasons in the Sun Facebook page. You won't see anything negative there because she makes sure people can't make informed decisions about whether to sign up for her program by removing any negativity.

Don't bother dealing with D'lee Reeves or Seasons in the Sun. I had to contact her over and over again just to get a response to try to understand why she overcharged me, and it became clear that the reason is because she has no idea what she's charging for. She won't listen when you tell her (with email confirmation from HER) that what she charged for isn't what you signed up for, and she won't give an invoice so that you can try to deal with straightening out the charges yourself.

On top of the financial side of things, the produce is frequently bad as soon as you get it or goes bad so quickly that you can't use most of it. Twice I received Chiquita/Dole bananas, so clearly the whole "local farm" thing isn't exactly accurate. And the Chiquita bananas were already black the day I picked the order up.

She has constant excuses for everything (from "nobody wants to work" to "not knowing how to use a computer" to literally saying she had to shoot a guy) that she uses to justify the recurring issues, and then she says she doesn't have time to even send a simple invoice (but does have time to post on Facebook constantly.) She tells everyone to contact her by phone and not to post on Facebook about the things she does, and she swears she'll make it right but never actually does. I'm sure she does have a lot going on in her life if the level of drama she fills your inbox with (once she responds weeks later) is any indication, but if she can't manage a business correctly AND deal with her personal life, she should step back from the business and quit scamming people.

I got one month of boxes (and I understood why they make you pay a whole month in advance). Boxes were all terrible every week. Produce was ALL rotten or from the store (pineapple with a store sticker on it), refrigerator items (store bought cheese curds, random homemade salad) were left at drop off location unrefrigerated so I had to throw out. Breads were ALL stale every week. After the first box I sent dozens of texts emails and messages to various numbers and never could get a response so I had to cancel my debit card (huge pain). I wasn’t going to leave a review and the owner did eventually contact me apologizing for not responding but then I saw on FB someone saying the same thing so I feel obligated to share. BUYER BEWARE, it is not a CSA box like you are picturing (box of fresh veggies they grow on their farm)

ETA this was at the end of September. I cancelled my debit card and eventually the owner responded acknowledging that I would not be picking up any more boxes. In mid November I got a random text from the owners daughter saying my card was declined when she just tried to run it. I had seen on FB numerous people saying that they were charged long after cancelling so I suggested that she actually contact people BEFORE just running credit cards from months ago. She did not appreciate my suggestion. Lord, don’t give these people your card information for some rotten produce!
