Came here for brunch, the food was really good and enjoyed the light decor. Service was decent but she missed that we asked for the eggs over medium - all good though. It was also a shame they didn’t have one of the items on the already short brunch menu but the chocolate tahini French toast was to die for! Not too sweet either.

The tea was delicious, we really liked the saffron honeycomb touch. The platter was nice too, but it would’ve been nice if a meat option was available to come with it.

Would love to come back for their dinner menu!

Our dinner here was delicious, we had the medley for two and hummus on the side, was filling and so delicious. Would recommend and stop by again.

Wow what a great little restaurant (and it IS little). We went for dinner and found the food so so good. Not going to try spell out what we ordered but the olive appetizer with the walnuts and pomegranates was AMAZING, so was the soup which had such a surprising depth of flavour, and the tagine which I've never had in this style before. The dessert was this really SOFT chiffon cake with spices like cardamom and cinnamon and a light fluffy cream with a cherry preserve I think. It was so good with the rose tea. I will definitely be back it's one of the best restaurants on Washington St I've found so far

I never really had Persian food before I came here and WOW was I blown away. The crispy Tahdig is a good introduction to Iranian cuisine and by it's description (the burnt rice on the bottom of a rice cooker) might not seem appetizing but the crispy caramelized ghee encased the fluffy basmati rice made the texture so addicting. I've never had fruit in rice but I was so enamored by the tart flavors of pomegranate seeds and cherries contrasted with rice. The chicken kabobs and ghormeh sabzi are must haves! The spices they were marinated in made them so fragrant and flavorful.

I am Iranian. This was gentrified Iranian restaurant. The food has absolutely no taste to it. Their baba ghanoush needed at least three or four more spices. There was not one Iranian working in that kitchen to direct them on how to cook. The waitress who I believe was Russian or of another culture had no idea of the Persian culture… That onions are usually served with the dinner or to bring out butter, instead of melted butter. I have never seen melted butter be brought out. The waitress seemed completely overwhelmed and needed more help. Today was Persian new year so I went with the hopes of some really great food and great atmosphere and both were equally awful. I’ve never been to a Persian restaurant where they are playing Sabrina Carpenter. And to add more insult to injury, the rice was awful and there was no tahdig…. This is a great spot for people who know nothing about Persian food and are used to a gentrified population. Culture is so important in the food you eat. This was just meat and rice put on a plate. Also didn’t enjoy the dog two inches from my child’s face as the man waited for his to go order.

This is a very nice and unpretentious Persian restaurant. We have been ordering delivery from them for quite some time now, but recently made a reservation to dine in in their garden, which is probably the lesser known feature of this place. The garden’s large table easily accommodated our party of 8.
We ordered all appetizers on the menu and they were all equally great. Chicken kabobs with saffron rice were our favorites. For desert, I recommend trying their cherry galette with the homemade Persian ice cream.
