A lifelong go-to. Funky & old... in a great classic way. A great pitstop. Friendly folks.& the best chocolate chip cookies in the state. If you like snooty & modern this place is not for you.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for gas today. Went in and paid $15 in cash for a little top off to get us to our destination. We pumped it, turned the car on to see we were still on E. Went my boyfriend went inside, he informed the employee of the situation. The employee said there was nothing they could do, she didn't offer to come look at our car, she said she'd have to get the owner but they were available.

Need ice cream? Chicken salad? Gas? ATM? Lotto? Wine? Kindling? VT maple syrup/VT products? Coffee? A new bandana? Vt T shirts? They've got a lot of stuff in this little store & nice people behind the counter. One thing to note: CASH ONLY

Update: No ATM now, but there's one down the street. Open till 7 pm now. No after hour pumps though. Still CASH only. Only VT LOTTO on rt 30 until hasgas store near Manchester west Rd. Other direction, NY is 7 miles away

The lady made my egg sandwich just the way I wanted with a scrambled egg instead of fried hard. I hate fried hard. It was a great breakfast and coffee to start off a great day.

My car broke down in Dorset after gassing up here last Saturday, and diagnostics from the car repair shop said that bad gas was the cause of the problem. Unless you're looking for a massive car repair bill, don't get your gas here!
